Is it plausible that NASA in all its glorious high level capabilities could record the space between the sun and moon during the eclipse. If the sun can illuminate the moon when it’s farther away then what does the moon look like when in alignment? Does this make any sense?

Interesting that it has so many visible craters. They appear to add depth and texture the the surface. Perhaps tricking our perception of what we are seeing? Are there any recorded accounts of anything striking the moon? How old is the newest crater?

This dude recorded an anomaly around the perimeter of the moon, Lunar Waves. Interesting.
