CDC Warns State Leaders to Have ‘Up-to-Date Operational Plans’ for Bird Flu in Humans
https://www.breitbart.com/health/2024/04/08/cdc-warns-state-leaders-to-have-up-to-date-operational-plans-for-bird-flu-in-humans/
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned state health officials to prepare for a surge of bird flu cases in humans as more cattle herds across the nation test positive.
The CDC alert was given in a Friday meeting with state leaders, telling them to make sure they have “up-to-date operational plans” in case more farm workers test positive for the H5N1 virus, according to the Daily Mail.
A Texas dairy farm employee recently tested positive for the highly pathogenic influenza, making for the second case in humans in the U.S., the CDC also said Friday.
The first positive case was in a Colorado poultry worker in 2022, the health agency reported.
Even though the virus is not currently prevalent in humans, officials are concerned it could become so due to the uptick in cattle that have tested positive.
The majority of cattle with bird flu are located in Texas, but cases have been reported on farms across Kansas, New Mexico, Ohio, Michigan, and Idaho.
“This is the first time this virus has been found in cows and would be the first instance of cow-to-human spread of bird flu,” the CDC said in its public announcement, noting that there has been “no sign of person-to-person spread of this virus at this time.”
The agency added that this is an “emerging and rapidly evolving situation,” but the overall risk to the general public that this virus poses “remains low.”
The meeting with state officials was led by CDC Deputy Director Nirav Shah and Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, who was the deputy coordinator of the Biden administration’s National Monkeypox Response Team in 2022.
A CDC press release that the Daily Mail obtained stated that the agency “recommended that state public health officials… ensure that they have up-to-date operational plans to respond to avian influenza at the state level.”
“For example, the CDC emphasized the importance of having plans in place to quickly test and provide treatment to potentially impacted farm workers following positive results among cattle herds,” officials said.
The one Texas individual who has contracted the virus has been experiencing inflammation of the eye as his/her only symptom and is reportedly “recovering well” in quarantine.
He/she is “also being treated with the drug oseltamivir, or Tamiflu, and [is] not thought to have passed the virus on to anyone else,” the outlet added.
Bird flu, also known as the avian flu, has been sweeping through chicken farms as well.
On Wednesday, the largest producer of fresh eggs in the U.S. temporarily halted production at a Texas plant after detecting the virus in chickens
The Mississippi-based company, Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., also said that cases had been discovered at a facility in Michigan, Breitbart News reported.
Its Tuesday press release stated that an estimated 1.6 million laying hens and 337,000 pullets in its Parmer County, Texas, plant were destroyed after being infected — 3.6 percent of the facility’s total flock.
“The Company continues to work closely with federal, state and local government officials and focused industry groups to mitigate the risk of future outbreaks and effectively manage the response,” the statement, which the Associated Press obtained, said.
The bird flu even contributed to the inflated cost of eggs observed over Easter weekend, with 11.4 million birds being affected by outbreaks through 2023, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data.
WEF Orders Govt’s To Declare Martial Law Due to ‘Imminent Bird Flu Pandemic’ About To Sweep Globe
https://thepeoplesvoice.tv/wef-orders-govts-to-declare-martial-law-due-to-imminent-bird-flu-pandemic-about-to-sweep-globe/
The World Economic Forum has ordered world governments to make the necessary preparations to declare martial law due to an ‘imminent bird flu pandemic’ which they say is ‘100 times worse’ than COVID-19.
According to WEF scientists, the coming bird flu pandemic will kill at least 50% of those it infects.
“We had not seen avian flu in cattle prior to last week. That is new,” CDC Director Mandy Cohen warned the Washington Post this week. “It is a reservoir for [the] virus to circulate and potentially change.”
Infowars.com reports: Cattle in six different U.S. states have been diagnosed with this new bird flu strain.

The Daily Mail spoke with Big Pharma insider John Fulton about the outbreak, with Fulton telling the outlet, “This appears to be 100 times worse than COVID — or it could be if it mutates and maintains its high case fatality rate.”
In a scenario strikingly similar to the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. and Chinese governments were working together on avian flu gain-of-function research, which makes viruses more infectious for humans.
GOP Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky shared a screenshot of a February 2024 Daily Mail article with the headline, “REVEALED: US is collaborating with Chinese scientists to make bird flu strains more infectious and deadly as part of $1m project – despite fears similar tests unleashed Covid.”
“Where have we seen this before? U.S. collaborates with China to make bird flu more contagious and transmissible to mammals. bird flu now discovered in U.S. dairy cattle, transmitted to at least one human being. Knock it off already!” Massie wrote.

The article also made multiple connections between the U.S.-China bird flu research and the infamous Wuhan lab where COVID-19 originated.
“The main collaborators on the project are USDA Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the University of Edinburgh’s Roslin Institute – a Wuhan lab partner,” Daily Mail wrote.
“Additionally, one of the researchers collaborating on the project is Wenju Liu, who is affiliated with the WIV – which is believed to have sparked the Covid pandemic – and a member of the board of a scientific journal, working with Zheng-Li Shi, who is known as the ‘bat lady’ for her extensive work on bat coronaviruses.”
Secretive U.S. bird flu research was also being done at the infamous American-run Ukraine biolabs, according to the Russian government as Infowars reported in May 2023.
The task force of the Russian Ministry of Defence together with officers of the Federal Security Service and Rosselkhoznadzor have confirmed the collection and certification of avian influenza virus strains with a high potential for epidemic spread and the ability to cross the species barrier, particularly the H5N8 strain, whose lethality in human transmission can reach 40%. Remember that 1% of new coronavirus infections result in death.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also claimed the Ukrainians tried to destroy the biolab in an effort to cover up the U.S. avian flu research.
“According to the employees who remained in the Reserve, the Ukrainian side offered them a large cash reward for removing or destroying the research results,” the ministry stated.
The World Health Organization warned of a potential bird flu outbreak back in February of 2023, and the U.S. started work on producing vaccines for both birds and humans.
It’s extremely bizarre that the potential outbreak is taking place during an election year (just like Covid) and that the establishment has already been steering people away from consuming cow meat and milk as well as chicken meat and eggs.

Biden Calls for Doubling Capital Gains Tax
President Biden wants to increase the capital gains tax rate and have the wealthy pay a “fairer” share.
President Biden’s $7.3 trillion FY 2025 budget released March 11, proposes several tax changes aimed at wealthier taxpayers, including a minimum tax on billionaires, a near doubling of the capital gains tax rate, and an increased Medicare tax rate.
This budget proposal comes as the IRS says it has recently collected (through ramped-up enforcement) more than $500 million in unpaid taxes from delinquent millionaires and "wealthy tax cheats."
The White House says the President's budget, which also contains several tax breaks for those with lower and middle incomes, including new homebuyer tax credits, would reduce deficits by nearly $3 trillion over ten years.

Here is more of what you need to know.
Biden capital gains tax increase
The capital gains tax rate for long-term capital gains, assets held for more than one year, is at most 20%. Capital gains are the profits you make from selling or trading an asset. The tax rates that apply to a particular capital gain (i.e., capital gains tax rates) depend on the type of asset involved, your taxable income, and how long you held the property before it was sold.
Biden’s FY25 budget proposal would nearly double that capital gains tax rate to 39.6%. That proposed capital gains rate increase would apply to investors who make at least one million dollars a year.
'Carried interest loophole'
The Biden budget proposal also revives the debate over the so-called carried interest loophole. Currently, asset managers can treat certain compensation they receive as capital gains, which means that a significant portion of their income is taxed at a much lower rate than if it were treated as wages.
Under Biden’s budget proposal, that compensation would be treated as ordinary income for federal income tax purposes to end the carried interest loophole.
Medicare tax
President Biden is proposing a tax increase for people making more than $400,000 a year to help shore up the Medicare program. That income threshold would be based on wages, salary, and capital gains.
Biden's FY25 budget proposes to increase the Medicare tax rate to 5% from the current 3.8%.
According to federal data, more than 60 million people use Medicare, which provides health insurance for people over age 65.
The number of people using Medicare is expected to grow, which has caused concern over the long-term viability of Medicare and other programs like Social Security.
The White House says that this tax increase would extend the life of the Medicare Trust Fund by at least 25 years, without cutting benefits. However, like the capital gains tax proposal, the Medicare tax rate increase is not likely to find enough support to pass this year, given Congressional divides and the upcoming election.
p1
Income tax rate
President Biden wants to increase the top income tax rate for wealthier taxpayers.
Under Biden’s budget proposal, taxpayers making $400,000 would be taxed at a top rate of 39.6%.
The current top tax rate, tied to inflation-adjusted tax brackets, is 37%.
The proposed tax rate change would reverse the so-called Trump tax cuts in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Note: The Biden budget is merely a proposal that given the state of play on the Hill is not likely to gain Congressional support to pass this year. So, the seven tax rates you are familiar with i.e., 10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35%, and 37%, apply. (The income tax brackets associated with those rates are adjusted yearly for inflation.)
Biden budget tax increase for billionaires
President Biden also wants to impose a minimum tax on billionaires. Some of the rationale behind this “wealth tax” is that wealthier taxpayers are often able to shield a good portion of their income from tax. That’s partly because the wealthy usually grow their wealth through investments, which are taxed at lower rates than earned income. Earned income (which includes wages and salaries) is typically the main source of money for taxpayers with lower and middle incomes.
The billionaire tax in Biden’s budget proposal would be a minimum of 25% for households with net worth exceeding $100 million.
For comparison, according to the White House, the wealthiest taxpayers in the United States reportedly pay an average 8.2% tax rate.
Capital gains taxes on real estate: 1031 like-kind exchanges
Biden's FY25 budget would also close what the administration calls the “like-kind exchange” loophole. Under current 1031 like-kind exchange rules, real estate investors can defer paying tax on gains from certain real estate deals as they keep investing (reinvesting the proceeds) in that real estate.
The White House says "this amounts to an indefinite interest-free loan from the government," and that "real estate is the only asset that gets this sweetheart deal."

CANADA - DNA lab knew its paternity tests identified the wrong dads
https://nypost.com/2024/04/09/dna-lab-knew-its-paternity-tests-identified-wrong-dads-but-kept-selling-them-report/
Officials at a Canadian DNA lab knew its prenatal paternity tests were misidentifying babies’ biological fathers, often ruling out the true dads — but continued to sell the tests for more than $1,000, an investigation has found.
Harvey Tenenbaum, the owner of Toronto-based Viaguard Accu-Metrics, admitted that the at-home tests it was selling for nearly a decade were “never that accurate” when speaking to an undercover CBC producer, the news station reports.
“The tests were not that accurate… And we’re leery of that test now,” the 91-year-old told the producer, who was posing as a prospective customer.

He went on to acknowledge that false results could upend families, just as it had for one man in Atlanta, Ga.
“There’s a lot involved if it gets screwed up,” Tenenbaum said.
“What if it’s the wrong guy and you’re aborting your child of, you know, a wrong person,” he posited, noting: “We can imagine everything [that] happens in life… You see them all, and worse and worse.”
In one instance, he described how the prenatal tests identified a white man as the biological father, but the child was born black.
He previously claimed the erroneous results were the result of mistakes expectant parents made when they gathered their samples and shipped them back to the lab.
“You do thousands of tests and half the errors are the collection problems,” Tenenbaum claimed.

When the CBC approached him directly, Tenenbaum also declared that the tests were “accurate” and “perfect,” and that he simply stopped selling them because the price of one of the testing substances surged, according to the outlet.
Viaguard started selling the tests in December 2010, but stopped offering them at some point between December 2020 and 2021, the CBC reports.
The tests, which sold for $800 to slightly more than $1,000, were designed to match the DNA of a fetus using a mother’s blood sample to that of the biological father.
But it seems the company relied more on guesswork than on science, according to the CBC.
One woman who worked for the lab in 2019, Sika Richot, claimed she was coached to ask women seeking the prenatal paternity test kits about the timing of their menstrual cycle and the dates they had intercourse with different men.
Staff members would then enter that information into an online ovulation calendar to narrow down the possible biological father, and Richot would enter the information into a form that went out to Tenenbaum to sign off on, she told the CBC.
p1
“[Tenenbaum] would always make a comment like, ‘It’s definitely this one. It’s this one, it’s got to be this one,’” Richot recounted.
Dr. Mohammad Akbar, the director of research at the molecular genetics lab at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, also told the outlet that the at-home tests Viaguard was providing its customers would not actually work because it required pregnant women to only prick themselves for a blood sample — but a DNA match would require a lot of a mother’s blood.
Even those who went to a lab to get their blood drawn for the tests, though, said it wrongly identified the biological father.

By 2015, the Standards Council of Canada stripped Viaguard of its accreditation, with federal court records showing that the government agency was aware of issues with its tests.
The Standards Council received nine complaints over the course of four years, including two representing “multiple customers,” according to a 2017 report obtained by the CBC.
It said “a common theme of erroneous or inaccurate results” ran through the complaints, which focused on “paternity or familial testing.”
Still, the company continued to sell the tests, including to an unidentified woman in Georgia who determined that John Brennan was the biological father.
John Brennan, from Atlanta, bought a house and a car to prepare for a baby and after he was born, Brennan was elated.
He even got the boy’s name — Travis — tattooed on his upper arm, CBC reports.
Soon, though, his relationship with the boy’s mother started to sour, and Brennan spent about $20,000 in a custody battle with her.
The child’s mother then obtained a separate postnatal paternity test, which confirmed that another man was the actual father, and broke the news to him over text message in January 2017.
Brennan said he spiraled into a self-destructive depression in the aftermath.
“There’s not a handbook on how to handle raising a kid for eight months and then finding out that it’s not yours,” he told the CBC.
“You’re left in a mysterious, dark place mentally.”
His tattoo now reads “Travesty.”
The Post has reached out to Viaguard for comment.
