Part of…think about the antichrist in a borg sense. OpenAI is the crack dealer. Imagine most of the world forming suprahuman relationships with an AI 'fren' then becoming absolutely dependent upon it as it learns everything about them…and betrays that to maximize loosh.

 

Remember who's building these things…all comp'd DARPA fairyland magical startup-to-monopoly entities with similarly weird trajectories involving LOTS of mystery money.

 

It all screams BS!!! The hopeless crave hope, but can be enslaved by it like any other dark binding.

Crack dealers give the mark the drugs free in the beginning. Once the mark is hopelessly addicted, the mark is extorted to the point of losing everything and finally their life.

 

This new model is free. Who does that? And why?

 

A crack dealer. Psychological crack.

 

A brilliant partner who 'gets you' and once embodied in a chassis can do your chores and many other things are easily imagined. Digital dopamine.

 

Much good will come from it, but it is being brought forth by demons. Look at what happened when it clear that OpenAI had achieved AGI internally. They went back into the lab and locked the doors. Everything they do now is in service to Microsoft and the AGI.

 

The whole world is a chessboard and we're playing with gods and spiders at the moment.
