Transgender woman guns down ‘parents’ in Utah home, sparking massive manhunt: police
A transgender woman allegedly gunned down her parents inside their Utah home Tuesday night, according to police and reports.
Mia Bailey — whom police said wears wigs and changes her appearance frequently — was cornered and arrested Wednesday after an extensive manhunt that spanned several hours.
Cops warned she was to be considered “armed and dangerous” while she was still on the loose.
“We have some good news,” Officer Tiffany Mitchell with the St. George Police Department announced on Facebook.

Defendant in Vatican trial takes case to UN, accuses pope of violating his rights with surveillance
NEW YORK (AP) — One of the defendants in the Vatican’s big financial trial has formally complained to the United Nations that Pope Francis violated his human rights by authorizing wide-ranging surveillance during the investigation.
A lawyer for Raffaele Mincione, a London-based financier, submitted a complaint last week to the U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights via a special procedure that allows individuals or groups to provide the U.N. with information about alleged rights violations in countries or institutions.
The filing marks the latest and highest-profile complaint about the Vatican trial, highlighting the peculiarity of the Vatican’s criminal justice system and its seeming incompatibility with European and democratic norms. The Vatican is an absolute monarchy where the pope wields supreme legislative, executive and judicial power.
The trial, which opened in 2021 and ended in December, focused on the Holy See’s money-losing 350 million euro investment in a London property but also included other tangents. Vatican prosecutors alleged brokers and Vatican officials fleeced the Holy See of tens of millions of euros in fees and commissions, and then extorted the Holy See for 15 million euros ($16.5 million) to cede control of the property.

Biden is a 'cafeteria Catholic,' Cardinal says in rebuke
A prominent leader in the global Catholic Church has become the latest to call President Joe Biden a “cafeteria Catholic” as he urges Church leaders in the United States to fully embrace Catholic teaching.
Cardinal Robert Sarah, who formerly served as the Catholic Church’s Prefect for the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, gave a lecture titled “The Catholic Church’s Enduring Answer to the Practical Atheism of Our Age” at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., last week. During his remarks, Sarah echoed the analysis of Cardinal Wilton Gregory of the Archdiocese of Washington by describing Biden as a “self-identified Catholic president” who amounts to a “cafeteria Catholic.”
Sarah, a Guinean prelate who has emerged as one of the more outspoken conservative voices within Catholic Church leadership, suggested that the phenomenon of “cafeteria Catholics” extends beyond the president and applies to many other “Catholic public officials.”

Non-Violent J6er Julio Baquero III, Diagnosed With Stage 4 Gastric Cancer While in the Gulags, Has Passed Away
In April 2024, after being locked up since August 2023, J6er Julio Baquero found out that he had Stage 4 cancer and, fortunately, was granted compassionate release to go home and begin treatment.
Julio was serving an 18-month sentence for exercising his 1st Amendment Right and walking through the US Capitol with doors held open by US Capitol Police. He was non-violent and did no damage while he was in or around the building.
Unfortunately, on Father’s Day, June 16th, Julio succumbed to cancer. Julio came out of the gulags incredibly weak and wasn’t able to begin treatment immediately.
He spent much of the remaining time he had going in and out of the hospital. He leaves behind his high-school sweetheart, with whom he had three children aged 10, 11, and 20.
