This AC is a high level NATO G5 that departed Ramstein AFB on 0709 and went to Brussels for a pick up and then across the Atlantic to JBA. Departed for Sun Valley,ID yesterday.

 

It’s origination of Ramstein AFB and SPAR designation (Special Priority Air Resource) means it’s got some VIPs for NATO meeting in DC this last week.

It retained its numerical portion for this entire trip so it’s likely the Cmdr. of 86 Airlift Wing and Installation Cmdr. @ Ramstein Brigadier General Adrienne Williams and staff so the Tech “Summer Camp” just had an overnight from the top brass at major NATO staging and Air Wing Ramstein AFB.

 

Brigadier General Adrienne Williams is the Commander, 86th Airlift Wing and Installation Commander Ramstein Air Base, Germany. As the installation host, the 86 AW supports the headquarters for U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa, Third Air Force, three tenant wings, and more than 120 mission partners to include the integration and caring for the greater Kaiserslautern Military Community and its 56,000 U.S. service members and their families. As the 86 AW commander, she leads a wing composed of seven groups and 30 squadrons across four bases in Germany, Spain, Belgium, and Portugal. The 86 AW’s mission is to Defend U.S. Interests, Project Power…Enable the Global Gateway. The wing conducts USAFE-AFAFRICA’s only airlift, airdrop, and aeromedical evacuation flying operations, providing rapid mobility and expeditionary combat support.
