Yeah, there seems to be a coordinated effort right now to spread this as far as possible before the facts are confirmed. Waiting to see something moar concrete than a blurry photo and a fancy infograph put together with graphic design in mind.

I'm wondering how those patches were pushed though. Is it their own proprietary update system, or are they pushing their patches through the Windows Update Service, and if that's the case, who else is pushing updates through that then. I'm speculating, but hearing of Windows patches from CrowdStrike is setting off red flags in the back of my head right now.
