using critical thinking would mean you realized that corruption has infiltrated every institution among man. private, public, corporate, religious. evil is everywhere and masquerades as good. this is where your critical thinking and self trust fall short. once you understand there are things in this world you cannot measure with instruments… that there are things beyond man, earth, and the cosmos… that is the beginning of wisdom. god loves you as he does all his creation, and it is equally painful when the love is not reciprocated. but in his infinite mercy he will still bless you and guide you.
having faith in god and praying to the almighty is not evil. the corruption that has crept into the hearts of men is what is truly evil. heaven is not a place for just christians, just jews, or just islamic… it is a place where all upright and righteous people spend eternity in the warm embrace of god. buddhist, hindu, shinto, even people who have no religion are welcome if they live by the law of god written on their hearts.
you should know what is evil. destroying a child's innocence is evil, killing other people is evil, lusting after another mans wife is evil. do you not know these things? these things are evil and have been since the beginning of time.
i normally do not appeal to a hardened heat. but i implore you to seek your own spirit. i dont care where or how you do it. once you are in touch with your own spirit you will have to test it. what does it tell you? or to help and be honest with others, or to hurt and deceive others? then you will know which side you are on. you will know if your father is god in heaven, or if your father is the evil that rules the earth. there is no in between. there is no 'beyond good and evil' as nietzsche would have you believe. there are no shades of gray. you must choose.

they all know they've been infiltrated. everyone on earth is born a helpless babe. it is what you are taught, what you feel in your heart, and what you've learned by your actions that determines what or who your father is. good or evil.

do you give a thirsty man a bottle of water? do you give a man without a shirt the one off your back because you have 50 more at home? or would you buy a cheese burger and eat it in front of a starving man and tell him to get a job. this is what i mean by no shades of gray. its really quite simple. empathy vs contempt.
one last time i implore you to seek your own spirit. seek out a church, a temple, a mosque, a shrine, a medicine man, a shaman… anything that will put you in touch with your own spirit. it will answer many questions you are asking now.
