I worked on Wall Street for 7 years, but the technology has changed from your time and my time. What you are talking about is server side, and even modern banks can be hacked but they really aren't anymore because mostly all security holes have been patched but I am talking something thousands of time harder to crack than that. Even if someone could hack it for 1,000 times more effort than a bank they would only wind up affecting one vote, just a single one out of millions. A server on the other hand is a jackpot when it is compromised because it has all the votes. Did you even look at my voting app? Tell me one other software in the world that can create a web page, embed a web application that you can actually add callable functions to the code, and navigate every node on the page without writing one line of code yourself? Even Google cannot do what I have done dynamically and they have over 100k employees. Wanna test me on that? Go look for Google Closure Javascript library and look at the code to creating an explorer interface like you use when you search your files and folders but for the web, and analyze. You will find out that they can create those structures of files or folders, but they have to know what the structure is in advance. Even amazon tried to give me a test for a job hoping I would give them that tech. If I did, it would be over for every company in the world. Think about it.
