it is not the first time they have done this. Why is the father being arrested if the child is being charged as an adult. Thought they were old enough to understand what they were doing on their own unless you want to charge conspiracy between the two and their was an actual plot to do harm. Doubtful, so yes this is an over reach by the justice system yet again, unless they can show the father had influence but then needs to be charged as a minor and by mischarging they have already fucked the kid up because he can not get a fair trial.
So if this this kid is being charged with being an adult, what is the issue of his father gifting it to him if he is an adult? Unless he is not old enough to have said gun in which case how is he being charged as an adult. Unless that is old enough to know what they are doing and how is that determined, if they just say charge you as an adult with out a trial to see if you are an adult.
