Nice idea by Prince, but by Julie Kelly's reporting DeSantis knew about the raid on Mar A Lago and didn't stop it, he also sent state and local police with the FBI. DeSantis has no desire to protect Trump for obvious reasons. FL is a captured state by DeSantis, and it's not exactly like DeSantis would ever make peace with Trump. Plus he's part of the Governors assoc along with Kemp to keep him out of office.
Erik should take over protection but not paid or in control of US Gov. He said before he'd be willing to advise but the Feds will blame contractors if anything goes wrong
