When Jesus talks about the end of the world to the Apostles, he states only the Father knows the time/day. When Jesus was about to die on the cross for all of us, he went off 3 times and Prayed to God the father.
So, my question for anyone that's well versed in Christianity (and if you're not please just move a long we don't need the atheist unrequested opinions) is, how are these not separate entities? I've been told my whole life God and Jesus are one in the same. But that doesn't make sense to me. Why would God pray to himself? I'm not trying to be blasphemous here. This just doesn't add up to me. Christ is the son of God. How/why is it suggested God came down as man. Where am I missing this statement? Everything I've come across tells me differently. When John the Baptist baptized Christ God's voice appeared and stated how please he was in Christ. These are two separate entities!?
