who is claiming responsibility for the exploding pagers?

i can only imagine three scenarios as viable.

1) whomever controls hezbollah intentionally supplied compromised devices on purpose as a dead man switch (cia? idf? other?)

2) whomever controls hezbollah accidentally supplied compromised devices and they don't have the means/ability to detect (or intelligence) to scan their controlled comms devices. sabotaged by someone greater

3) these pagers were intentional dead man switches by hezbollah themselves and the compromise was accidental. (they got hacked?)
