Have there been any reports of Congress persons or Senators w/exploding pagers in the US? Now, that would put a damn smile on my face.
Keep it in context of the days events, not a veiled threat anon. We know there are people throughout our Govt, to include 3 letter agencies, who are in bed w/the enemy. Would you be surprised to find out members in the US also had 'explody' issues?
Can't be from a battery, it's a perfect sequential detonation across multiple devices. The battery wouldn't provide that level of percussive force to begin with. Then you have to consider the level of charge/condition of the battery would directly play into how long it took to overheat the battery and the level of 'boom' you would get. It's not from a battery, someone sold them pagers w/some type of detonator triggered by a specific page. It's not rocket science, just use your brain.
Not ignoring the battery explosion argument, it's just impossible based off the reporting. You can't, precisely trigger, thousands of batteries sequentially unless they themselves were bombs. Normal batteries, even if the safeties fail don't provide a percussive explosion. That loud pop sound is the breaking of the sound barrier, you aren't getting that from a battery. You get a smaller pop followed by flames and a hiss. I'm not an explosives expert but it's just basic science. How explosives got into their pagers, dunno but they clearly did.
Could just be a detonator, those are designed to provide the needed percussion to detonate C4. They come in many shapes/sizes but some are absolutely tiny. PICREL, these are average sized detonators and they'll put a hurting on a person w/out any explosives. Any prior military anons remember the safety video of the Marine who didn't have his crimper? Instead of getting the right tool, he used his teeth and lived to tell about it. The picture is of him holding a tray as the doctors figure out how to put his face back on… It's fucked up.
