>However, the Religion of Democracy doesn't allow for the freedom and Right of the individual to be protected in our Constitutional Republic.

Not quite, Anon. The First Amendment is quite explicit:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Congress is prohibited from creating a State Religion (Sorry, Christians!). There can't be a State Religion, period. They're also prohibited from writing any law whichrecognizesany religion. In other words, it's illegal for Congress to createanylaws which benefit one religious group over another. Except, they do it all the time. Specifically for one group, who claim they're a quasi ethno-religious group. Congress is also prohibited from preventing a person from practicing their religious beliefs. For all intents and purposes, if a person's religious ideology™ allows them to lie, steal, commit murder or fuck children, Congress is essentially powerless to stop them. So are the States and Local governments, as well.

That's your catch22. When the forefathers wrote the 1st Amendment, the majority of Americans were of a Christian-type ethos. They thought it would stay that way.

They were wrong.
