Kool-aide is dangerous to kids. Get the Yuka app it's actually pretty shocking how much poison is in our food. We scanned our pantry only to find most things rated less than 5/100. Things like Hershey's chocolate syrup had 4 poisonous additives, and nearly all baked goods or products to make things contained aluminum sodium sulphate. This means collectively in a matter of days, as a family we are ingesting about 500X the recommended safe amount (rough calculation but pretty close).

Every damn time. You think you know things then BAM… Sundance drops a well articulated deep dive into what's really going on.

Dragon Riding – Dockworker Strike Underway as Alinsky Methods Deployed Against Labor Union Head, Harold Daggett

"Notice how the media always present the verbiage of the dockworker’s employers as “employers’ group USMX,” without actually noting the employers’ group are the port owners, multinational shipping conglomerates and as a consequence, foreign countries.

In material fact, most critical ports in the USA are owned by foreign entities. As a result, the ILA are striking against the ideological, political and financial interests of mostly foreign entities (USMX)."

>i've been trying to think of the necessities of daily life that come from overseas thru these ports.

>primarily food…i can't think of anything that isn't domestically produced.

>Fuel won't be impacted since those ships offload at refineries and not ports.

>am i wrong? what am i missing?

Looks like we are all about to find out…

Yeah, that's what treehouse pointed out, it's 2 fold, the port already previously violated the previous contract and added port automation. They want a raise and the automation removed and future automation banned. It all sounded silly till Sundance laid it out. Foreign owned port, foreign controlled and machines don't pay income taxes so it's a lose/lose/lose if the union doesn't win. That's how I understand it.

"This is far more important than I realized yesterday."

Exactly, yesterday they were greedy, today, I support them. The timing is suspect but the reality is certain. They need to beat this automation thing.
