Shouldn't the MAGA wing of the Republican Party be sending in teams to facilitate voter registration, absentee ballots and/or ballot harvesting to the areas impacted by Helene.

After all is said and done, this election is also an existential threat. Not everyone is physically capable of being useful in rescue and recovery efforts, but a lot of people can help in preserving the victims vote and voice.

Maybe DJT could sponsor a GoFundMe page for a MAGA disaster recovery fund to send representatives in to preserve what's left of the electoral system and repair/replace what has been destroyed.

That's a laudable sentiment but doesn't change the fact that the election is hurtling toward us and time is short. To paraphrase:

"Truth is not always a pleasant thing, but it is necessary now to choose between two, admittedly regrettable, but nonetheless distinguishable post election environments. One where you have 20 million people killed and the other way you have 150 million people killed."
