Israel Strikes Lebanon's Northernmost City For First Time Of War

 

An Israeli drone bombed a Palestinian refugee camp in the Lebanese city of Tripoli, killing a Hamas leader and three members of his family in the early hours of Saturday.

 

Al-Jadeed TV channel reported that "an Israeli drone targeted a residential apartment in the vicinity of Khalil al-Rahman Mosque in the Beddawi camp in Tripoli," killing four people and injuring others who were transported to the Hilal Hospital inside the cam

 

Hamas issued a statement announcing the death of Qassam Brigades commander, Saeed Atallah Ali, his wife Shaima Khalil Azzam, and his two young daughters, Zainab and Fatima, who were killed as a result of the airstrike.

 

The Hamas statement added that "the Qassam Brigades, in light of the ongoing and escalating massacres of the occupation in the steadfast Gaza Strip, our proud West Bank, and our camps, the fortresses of our return, pledge to our people to avenge the pure blood that was shed and is still being shed."

FIVE CHINESE U of M Grads Caught Spying On America’s Largest National Guard Base In MI—Only Short Distance From Controversial Proposed Chinese Battery Plant Supported By Dem Gov. Gretchen Whitmer

 

Five recent Chinese graduates of the University of Michigan have been charged with conspiracy, making false statements to investigators, and destroying records during the federal investigation. They were caught with cameras late at night on the base at Camp Grayling, America’s largest US National Guard training facility in Grayling, MI.

 

The students claimed to be there to observe a meteor shower. Their presence coincided with military exercises involving Taiwanese forces, which led authorities to believe they were engaged in espionage.

 

According to M-Live, the five suspects who graduated from the University of Michigan in May 2024 are Zhekai Xu, Renxiang Guan, Haoming Zhu, Yi Liang, and Jingzhe Tao. They were found on the US military training base in 2023 near tents, military vehicles, and sensitive communications equipment. Court records show that the students were part of a joint program with Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

 

MSN reports – The students were found at Bear Lake on the camp’s property after midnight on Aug. 13, 2023. About 7,000 military officials, including some from Taiwan, were participating in live firing exercises, records show.

 

A U.S. sergeant major found the students taking photos near classified equipment and soldiers sleeping in tents, records show.

 

One of the students told the sergeant major they were Chinese media members. The sergeant major told them to leave, which they quickly did.

 

Local police later found the students in a Super 8 motel in Grayling. Further investigation of financial transactions showed they were close associates, and Xu booked the room one week before the Aug. 13 encounter at Bear Lake.

 

Guan was stopped in mid-December at Detroit Metropolitan Airport before a flight to Shanghai. Customs agents searched his luggage and found evidence in Guan’s external hard drive of two photos of military vehicles at Camp Grayling, records show.

 

Guan told investigators he did not have interactions with U.S. military, government, or police in northern Michigan, records show.

 

Investigators found messages on the Chinese messaging app WeChat that showed the group discussing the trip to Camp Grayling. Tao discussed the interaction with the sergeant major, while Liang and Guan discussed deleting photos and messages to avoid agents thinking, “we are colluding,” records show.

 

The complaint states that the students departed the United States after graduation in May 2024.

 

It is unknown if the former U of M students are in custody.

FEMA Issues Warning On False Helene 'Rumors', Launches Response Page

 

The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) released a “rumor response” page in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which caused significant damage across western North Carolina late last month.

 

In an update on Oct. 3, FEMA responded to statements issued online about the agency’s response to the disaster, including whether it is running out of funding due to payments and efforts made to fly illegal immigrants into parts of the United States.

 

“FEMA has enough money right now for immediate response and recovery needs. If you were affected by Helene, do not hesitate to apply for disaster assistance as there is a variety of help available for different needs,” the agency wrote.

 

It also said that “no money is being diverted” from federal Helene disaster response efforts and that claims that “funding for FEMA disaster response was diverted to support international efforts or border related issues” are “false.”

 

The agency did not provide specific examples of the online claims about its funding that it described as false.

 

Earlier this week, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wrote that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the Department of Homeland Security, and FEMA should “immediately stop spending money on illegal immigration resettlement and redirect those funds to areas hit by the hurricane” and “put Americans first.”

 

He was responding to Mayorkas’s comments to reporters that FEMA, overseen by his agency, “does not have the funds” to make it until the end of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, which is Nov. 30.

 

“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have,” Mayorkas told a press gaggle on Air Force One. “We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season and … what is imminent.”

 

The Epoch Times contacted DHS and FEMA for comment on Friday but received no reply by publication time.

 

“The Biden–Harris administration took more than a billion tax dollars that had been allocated to FEMA for disaster relief and used it to house illegal aliens,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote on X. “Now, they’ve abandoned American hurricane victims in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee.”

 

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) echoed that claim, saying FEMA’s move to spend “over a billion dollars on illegals while they leave Americans stranded and without help is treasonous.”

 

Another claim purportedly circulating online was that FEMA was asking for cash donations and is turning away volunteers in North Carolina. But FEMA’s website says it is false.

 

“FEMA does not ask for or generally accept any cash donations or volunteers for disaster response,” the agency wrote. “We do encourage people who want to help to volunteer with or donate cash to reputable voluntary or charitable organizations. After a disaster, cash is often the best way to help as it provides the greatest flexibility for these reputable organizations working on the ground to purchase exactly what is needed.”

Dr. Studnicki, who was also removed from the editorial board of Sage’s Health Services Research and Managerial Epidemiology journal months before the retractions, criticized Sage’s actions as politically motivated.

 

One of the challenged studies, published on November 9, 2021, cited a 500% increase in emergency room visits linked to chemical abortions from 2002-2015, based on Medicaid data.

 

Another study from May 2022 examined repeated ER visits among women who did not inform their physicians of undergoing chemical abortions. These studies were referenced in federal court decisions about mifepristone’s FDA approval suspension.

 

Abortion pill dangers were highlighted last month when Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris falsely claimed a woman in Georgia died due to an abortion ban but was actually killed as a result of using mifepristone.

 

Despite the dangers, pharmaceutical retailers like CVS and Walgreens announced earlier this year they would be dispensing the drug.

Elites out of touch? Study shows the influential 1% hold different views from average Americans

 

According to the project, the elite one percent who influence media narratives live in densely populated urban areas, make over $150K a year and have a postgraduate degree. But for whom do they speak?

 

When it comes to elitists in America, a recent study has shown that they are wildly out of touch with the average, everyday American people on a lot of issues such as freedom and the economy.

 

A project was recently conducted by prominent pollster Scott Rasmussen titled "Elite 1 Percent" goes into detail about who the one percent are and what their views are regarding American policies.

 

According to the project, the elite one percent live in densely populated urban areas, make over $150K a year and have a postgraduate degree.

"Too much freedom"

 

"The views and influence of the Elite 1% may be the root cause of the political toxicity in our nation today," Rasmussen wrote on the social media platform, X. "Their underlying attitudes reflect an implicit rejection of the ideal that governments derive their only just authority from the consent of the governed." Some of the basics that Rasmussen observed is that the "elites" identify as Democrats, by 73%, more than half of them being between the ages of 35 and 54.

 

Rasmussen found in his study that 47% of the elite one percent think that Americans have "too much freedom."

 

“The Elite 1% wield a tremendous amount of institutional power but are wildly out of touch with the nation they want to rule," he said.

 

“Over the years they have built institutions and mechanisms of regulatory power that are immune to the checks and balances of elections. Worse still, these same elites own, operate, and control a large majority of media outlets, blocking out the true voice of the American people and broadcasting their own out of touch viewpoints," he continued.

 

Another difference between everyday Americans and the elite one percent is that 70% of the elite trust the government to make the right decisions.

Shouldn't the MAGA wing of the Republican Party be sending in teams to facilitate voter registration, absentee ballots and/or ballot harvesting to the areas impacted by Helene.

Former South Australian opposition leader David Speirs has confirmed he will leave parliament and suspend his Liberal Party membership after being arrested for drug offences.

 

Mr Speirs made the revelation in a more than four minute long video he described as the hardest he has "ever recorded", which was posted to social media on Saturday.

 

"Since allegations of illicit substance use in my home became public, my home has been raided by armed police and I was arrested and I was questioned," Mr Speirs, who quit as the state Liberal Party leader in August, said.

 

"I believe there's someone pretty sinister behind this and while I am personally devastated by what has happened and I will fight to clear my name of any allegations, I'm equally concerned about what is actually the use of state government power against someone who is a political opponent."

 

Mr Speirs' social media post prompted South Australia Police to issue a statement confirming they had arrested him last month, and searched his home.

 

"As a result of the public statement made on social media by MP David Speirs in which he reveals he had been arrested, police can confirm that on September 26 2024 Mr Speirs was arrested at Berri and charged with two counts of supplying a controlled substance between August 2 and 3 and on August 9," police said.

 

"Following this his residential premises was subsequently searched. Mr Speirs was given police bail and will appear in court at a later date."

 

Mr Speirs, the Member for Black in Adelaide's southern suburbs, said he will resign from parliament in the next sitting week, which is scheduled to commence on October 15.

 

"I don't believe that I can adequately and effectively serve my local community while also dealing with this matter and protecting my mental health and supporting my family and friends," he said.

 

"For me it's time to move on. I want to rebuild myself over the coming months and into the future. To be honest, I want to be a better person.

A new election forecast bodes well for former President Donald Trump’s odds of winning the White House.

 

The Economist’s latest election forecast of the Trump-Kamala Harris race to 270 electoral votes found that the former president has a 50% chance of winning that clinching number on Nov. 5

 

The magazine’s latest model, updated Friday, saw Mr. Trump’s pathway to an Electoral College victory surge. Previously, The Economist had him at less than a 50% shot at securing the 270.

 

Now the model shows Mr. Trump capturing 264 electoral votes, up from its previous 257. That puts him on more equal footing with Vice President Harris.

 

The Economist’s model predicts she’ll win 274 electoral votes, lower than its previous estimate of 281.

You may recall … Thomas Crooks climbed to the roof of a building and fired a bullet that grazed Trump's right ear just inches from his skull as he stood on stage giving a speech. A Secret Service agent fatally gunned down Crooks, but not before the assailant shot to death one attendee and wounded two others.

 

On Wednesday,Trump told NewsNation that he was going back to Butler to fulfill an obligation that he would finish his rally.

 

Last weekend, Trump explained to a crowd at an Eerie, Pennsylvania, rally that the Butler locale was fast becoming a "big tourist site,"promising to begin his speech Saturday by stating, "As I was saying."

 

Like anything with Trump, we'll just have to see if that pledge comes true. But one thing's for sure … he'll be mercilessly bashing his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.

 

CNN reported the Secret Service will beef up security around the event to prevent a repeat of their July 13 failures.

 

As you know, Trump was also targeted for assassination a second time at his Palm Beach golf course, but an eagle-eyed Secret Service agent foiled the plot. Ryan Routh was arrested and federally charged in connection with the alleged attempted assassination

Strangely, or not, Politico never outlines that Tim Walz was specifically vetted by Eric Holder. As a consequence, if the political left is going to run with the excuse of failed vetting of Walz to explain Harris losing,they are essentially saying Eric Holder sunk Harris.(She sunk herself by opening her mouth)

ELECTION INTEGRITY: The single most vulnerable politician to overseas voting is Senator @tedcruz

. UOCAVA voting puts his seat very much in play. Between 2016 and 2020 Texas saw a 100% increase in overseas votes - a similar increase this year would cost Ted his seat.

 

What if I told you that anyone could go online and claim to be a citizen living overseas, get a ballot, and vote without ever having to prove their identity or citizenship? Sounds crazy, right? What if I told you federal law made it illegal for the state to attempt to verify your identity and citizenship? They don't even need to use their real name or even the name of a living person. Even crazier, right? Well that's exactly what the UOCAVA allows and requires.

 

The census estimates there are less than 3 million Americans living overseas, but the Democrats are telling donors to their Vote From Abroad Program that there are more than 9 million. So anyone with a computer can go to the FVAP website and fill out a few forms and be registered to vote and receive a ballot - you don't have to provide a real name or address and driver's license and last four of SSN are all optional (fun fact the state isn't allowed to confirm the last four of the SSN you provide matches the name or DoB you provided).

 

This is the case for all 50 states but I specifically confirmed this with the Texas Secretary of State. Of course, whoever fills out the registration and ballot will need to swear they are a citizen - but since we don't know the real name of the voter or anything about them there is little risk of getting caught.

 

The Democrats claim they are investing 'six figures' in getting out the overseas vote - a number that seems very low if they're interested in getting 9 million ballots. I can't help but wonder if that effort is cover to explain why they get so many overseas ballots in November.

The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act facilitates voter fraud like nothing else. Using a VPN anyone can register from anywhere in the world and vote without providing ID or proof of citizenship. Between 2016 and 2020 Texas saw a 100% increase in overseas voting and the most vulnerable Senate race to UOCAVA in 2024 is Ted’s - a similar increase this year would cost him his seat and there is very little we can do to stop it now except vote - he needs every single possible vote.

Vice president Kamala Harris has been accused of antagonizing her staff resulting in an "extraordinary high" exodus rate from her office. Her ex-employees called her a tyrannical boss who terrified and cursed her employees. An account claims Kamala Harris discouraged direct eye contact and made her employees stand in attention when she entered a room. Former House speaker Kevin McCarthy told Fox News that nobody lasts very long working for Kamala Harris.

"Even as VP, when she didn’t do anything, she could not keep staff. That is a person that the press will never talk about… How she treats people around her is a real indication of what she’ll do in the future," McCarthy said.
