5,700 Children!? Medical Group Debunks Harvard Claim Denying Minors Getting Trans Surgery

by Tyler Durden Thursday, Oct 10, 2024

A new national database reveals that between 2019 and 2023, a total of 13,994 minors in the US have received 'gender-affirming care' - of which more than 5,700 were operated on.

Researchers with Do No Harm analyzed insurance claims filed nationwide, finding 5,747 unique patients receiving gender affirming surgery, which ranges from mastectomies to genital reassignment surgery. They also found 8,519 minors who have been prescribed puberty blockers and/or hormone replacement therapy. Overall there were more than 60,000 total prescriptions written.

The cost of the insurance claims added up to $119 million, according to the website, which provides a searchable database that allows parents to search over 225 hospitals.

The researchers say they were extremely conservative in their estimates - and therefore their database likely underestimates the actual number of children receiving 'care,' the NY Post reports.

"Weโ€™ve really been meticulous in trying to make sure that the data are as clear as possible and are as accurate as possible," said Do No Harm chairman, Dr. Stanley Goldfarb.

Detransitioners speak out

Detransitioner Chloe Cole, who is now 19-years-old, received a double mastectomy at the age of 15.

"Once I even said that I was detransitioning, that I regretted it, in that I was talking about my experience and how transitioning damaged my life, the immediate response from my transgender friends in this community that I once looked up to, that I once saw as a second family โ€ฆ was now entirely against me," she told Fox News in January.

Harvard study BTFO

The database completely dismantles a July study by researchers at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, which found 'little to no utilization of gender-affirming surgeries by transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) minors in the U.S.'

The study found no gender-affirming surgeries performed on TGD youth ages 12 and younger in 2019. This was expected, the researchers said, as current international guidelines do not suggest any medical or surgical intervention for TGD individuals prior to puberty. -Harvard University

"We found that gender-affirming surgeries are rarely performed for transgender minors, suggesting that U.S. surgeons are appropriately following international guidelines around assessment and care," said Elizabeth Boskey, instructor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences - while lead author Dannie Dai, research data analyst in the Department of Health Policy and Management, added, "Our findings suggest that legislation blocking gender-affirming care among TGD youth is not about protecting children, but is rooted in bias and stigma against TGD identities and seeks to address a perceived problem that does not actually exist."

Except that's total bullshit, as we now know.

The Harvard report accompanying the study specifically mentions the fact that at present, half of US states have bans on 'gender-affirming' care for minors.

The following states are protecting children from their mentally ill parents and medical providers.

Bid to 'prove innocence' of Prince Andrew's 'dear friend' Ghislaine Maxwell rocked by murder

Douglas Dickie 10 OCT 2024

Lady Victoria Hervey is producing a television documentary to try and clear the name of Jeffrey Epstein's ex but has been forced to put it on hold after a violent crime amid concerns she herself could be in danger

A bold bid to 'prove the innocence' of Ghislaine Maxwell has been rocked by a murder. Maxwell, 62, is currently serving a 20-year sentence after being found guilty in the USA of child sex trafficking and other crimes related to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

She was allegedly friends with Prince Andrew and appears in an infamous photo of the disgraced Duke with Virginia Giuffre, who accused the royal of sexual assault, something he denies. Giuffre claimed the picture was taken at Maxwell's home in Belgravia, where the alleged assault is said to have taken place.

Maxwell, 62, once referred to him as a "dear friend" although Andrew's lawyers denied the pair were ever close. But one person who is willing to be known as a pal of the socialite is Lady Victoria Hervey.

She has launched a quest to clear Maxwell's name and is creating a documentary to support the case, insisting she is also in touch with Andrew and that Buckingham Palace is aware of her work. However, she has been rocked by the news someone she was set to interview has been murdered, reports the Daily Mail.

The Marquess of Bristol's sister, 48, said: "There was a hiccup - my witness was murdered in July in Chicago. It was listed as a violent crime. I'm taking a bit of time off, a little breather. I was talking to people with evidence, and one of them has been murdered."I wonder if Hervey might have shared details of the witness to have them "offed"?

Hervey, who also considers Andrew a friend, revealed she has had to move back to the UK from the US after getting involved in the documentary. She lived for two decades in LA but said: "It all started getting scary when I got involved with a new documentary about Ghislaine.

"A whistle-blower close to the girls for the past three years reached out to me, and I have been gathering evidence to support Ghislaine and Prince Andrew. I have been working undercover and it's dangerous.

"The powers that be over there know all about me. I even thought I was being followed. I've been writing to Ghislaine in prison and am in touch with Prince Andrew, but I can't discuss him, although the Palace is fully aware of what's going on."

Maxwell was in a relationship with Epstein in the early 90s and remained close with him until his death in 2019. Speaking about her apparent friendship with Andrew, she previously said: "I feel so bad for him. I follow what is happening to him."

"I accept that this friendship could not survive my conviction. He is paying such a price for the association. I consider him a dear friend. I care about him."
