Back stateside, I did some saucy sampling to see if I could find out more about the US 2024 McRib release. After sampling across the United States McDonalds locations, it appears that the McRib will return. However, the McRib is not likely to return until sometime in November or December. Several locations indicated a general uncertainty if the sandwich would be back. Stores typically have at least a one month lead on promotions, indicating October is likely too soon. A few locations did indicate that they believed this would once again be more of a limited release. Some locations only knew it was coming, but were unsure if their store was participating in the promotion.

 

We will continue to look for a more concrete timeline for the McRib and will share that information as it becomes available.

It appears that there is a strong push to show fans enjoying the McRib as opposed to promotional material we see elsewhere that tends to focus more on the McRib itself. One notable difference with the McRib in Spain is the lack of pickles included on the sandwich. Otherwise, it appears that the McRib in Spain is alike that we see as the “traditional” offering.
