New cell phones are removing the SD card feature. On phone storage only or Cloud.

Sounds innocent until you find out backup software is update sensitive, meaning if do a backup and they patch a security item call it an update it can prevent you from doing a restore to the newer rev. In addition some updates prevent firmware rollbacks.

Pay attention, the only way to back up your phone will soon be cloud only where they can charge you if you need more than a few GB of free space.

I suspect computers wont be far behind this update nightmare.
