Man arrested outside of Trump rally sues California sheriff over assassination accusations
Miller said he was suing Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, because the department had basically "dropped a nuclear bomb" in his life which resulted in him getting death threats from people wanting to protect the former president.
ANevada man who was arrested outside of a rally for former President Donald Trump in California this weekend sued the Riverside County Sheriff's office this week, for accusing him of trying to kill Trump.
Las Vegas reporter Vem Miller, 49, was arrested in Coachella on Saturday on his way to the Trump rally. He was found to be illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun and a high-capacity magazine, authorities said.
Miller has denied that he was on his way to assassinate Trump, claiming that he was a Trump supporter, and that he was going to park his car and then hike to the rally. He maintains he was not going to bring the weapons with him.
