US Gives Israel $5.2 Billion to Strengthen Missile Defense System

 

⚪️ The US and Israeli defense ministries have reached an agreement to provide multi-billion dollar aid to strengthen the missile defense system.

⚪️ The total amount of the package will be $5.2 billion. These funds will be used to:

⚪️ modernization and purchase of new Iron Dome air defense systems;

⚪️ development of the "David's Sling" missile defense system;

⚪️ financing the development of a promising laser air defense system, the Iron Beam.
