Maher Questions Why Media Avoiding Allegations Against Kamala’s Husband

HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher is questioning why the corporate media, by and large, has ignored allegations of violence against Second Husband Doug Emhoff, recently raised by a former girlfriend.

 

“There’s a lot of scuttlebutt in the news this week about Doug,” Maher said in a panel discussion on Friday’s “Overtime” online segment of his HBO show.

 

“If people don’t know what’s going on, the Daily Mail is reporting that three women [Emhoff’s ex-girlfriend] talked to contemporaneously, which has been the standard very often in these cases, that she said back in, I think, 2011 or something, they were at the Cannes Film Festival. He slapped her. He thought she was flirting with the valet.”

 

“He knocked up the nanny, right? That’s confirmed,” conservative radio host Buck Sexton interjected.

 

“That’s confirmed. He definitely knocked up the nanny,” Maher responded, chuckling.

 

“What I’m saying is, if this becomes more credible- and we don’t know yet. I mean, a lot of the conservative outlets still aren’t reporting it, so I wouldn’t go after anybody for not reporting it yet because these things have to be checked out,” Maher continued. “But if it becomes more credible, certainly on the level of Brett Kavanaugh, which was that kind of thing was reported by everybody pretty quickly. Does the liberal media keep ignoring it?”

 

“Yes, they will. Absolutely,” Sexton answered.

 

“Wouldn’t that make it look worse?” Maher then asked.

 

For the record, four of Kavanaugh’s accusers were found to have been lying. In fact, a group of GOP senators made criminal referrals to the Justice Department regarding four accusers who allegedly lied under oath, but nothing ever came of them.

 

Emhoff, who was celebrated by the media as a positive example of masculinity, has recently found himself at the center of controversy. He confirmed that he had an extramarital affair with the family nanny, which resulted in her becoming pregnant and ultimately led to the end of his marriage to his first wife, Kerstin Emhoff.

 

“During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions,” Emhoff said in a statement. “I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side.”

 

The Daily Mail subsequently reported serious allegations against him, including an incident in 2012 where he reportedly “forcefully slapped” his then-girlfriend, as well as claims of “inappropriate” and “misogynistic” behavior during his time leading the LA law firm Venable from 2006 to 2017.

 

Since the controversies emerged, nearly every media interviewer has steered clear of the topic while speaking with Emhoff. However, when MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough referenced “tabloid stories” about him, the second gentleman did not deny the allegations.

 

“[Trump’s] spreading it about you, saying that tabloid stories about your personal life. He’s saying it should be front and center. He’s saying it about your wife and making incredibly crude and lewd suggestions about her past life. I’m just curious, I know I seem like a very zen, mindful person, but I think I’d be pissed off, and I’m just wondering, how do you all stay centered, how do you stay disciplined and not really go off and not really push back hard at these things?” MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough asked.

Navy identifies 2 killed in fighter jet crash as aviators from California

The Navy identified on Monday the two crew members who died last week in a jet fighter crash near Mount Rainier as two 31-year-old aviators from California.

 

Lt. Cmdr. Lyndsay P. Evans, a Naval Flight Officer, and Lt. Serena N. Wileman, a Naval Aviator, died when their EA-18G Growler jet from the Electronic Attack Squadron, known as “Zappers,” crashed east of Mount Rainier last Tuesday during a training flight, according to Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.

 

Evans of Palmdale, California, made history as part of a team of female pilots who conducted the first-ever all-female flyover of Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12, 2023, to celebrate 50 years of women flying in the Navy, Steve Fiebing, a Navy spokesperson, told The Associated Press.

 

The first female candidates entered the U.S. Navy flight school in 1973.

 

“I joined the Navy to serve my country,” Evans told the Los Angeles Times. “Serving in the Navy means being part of something bigger than yourself.”

Vice President Kamala Harris said the stakes of her race against Donald Trump keep her up at night with 15 days to go until Election Day.

Asked by Maria Shriver in Michigan whether she sleeps, Harris responded: “I wake up in the middle of the night usually these days, just to be honest with you.”

But Harris added that she tries to keep a routine: “I work out. I try to eat well, you know. I love my family, and I make sure that I talk to the kids and my husband every day.”

“These days, my family keeps me grounded in every way,” Harris said.

The vice president added: “we cannot despair.”

An ‘Egyptian bomber’ shot down in western Sudan turned out to be an Il-76 cargo carrier

 

Russian citizens may have been on board an Il-76 cargo plane that was reportedly shot down over the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan, one of the factions in the Sudanese civil war has said.

 

A conflict between the Sudanese Sovereign Council and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has raged since 2023. The RSF called off peace talks with Khartoum earlier this month, vowing to pursue victory on the battlefield.

 

The cargo plane shot down in western Sudan may have had Russian nationals on board, Moscow’s embassy in Khartoum said on Monday, citing RSF claims posted on social media.

 

The embassy said it was “taking all necessary steps to clarify the circumstances of this incident,” in collaboration with Sudanese authorities, adding that the situation is complicated by the fact that the crash site is in Darfur.

 

Photos and videos posted on X from the crash site showed the wreckage of what appeared to be an Il-76 transport plane, and a Russian passport. Another post showed a corporate ID card of Airline Transport Incorporation FZE, based in the UAE, issued to a person with a Russian-sounding name. The card also says ‘Manas International Airport’, which is in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the outlet Sudan War Monitor, another document retrieved at the crash site was a safety manual belonging to New Way Cargo Airlines, a Kyrgyz carrier.

 

Ali ‘Savannah’ Rizkallah, a RSF commander in North Darfur, appeared in one video circulating on social media and said his troops used “guided missiles” to bring down the “Egyptian Antonov,” even though the plane in question appears to be an Ilyushin. RSF leader Mohammed Hamdan Daglo had previously accused Egypt of bombing his forces on behalf of Khartoum.

 

The Sovereign Council has accused the UAE of smuggling weapons to the RSF, which the Emirates have denied. A US-funded NGO has claimed that UAE-based Il-76 transports have brought weapons to Amjarass in neighboring Chad, from where they were delivered to the RSF. According to the Emiratis, however, the flights to Amjarass were bringing supplies to a field hospital, set up to treat the many Sudanese refugees.

 

The RSF rebelled against the Sovereign Council, led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, in April 2023. According to a recent report from a UN fact-finding mission, the conflict has left tens of thousands dead or injured, internally displaced nearly eight million people in the country of roughly 47 million, and forced two million more into neighboring countries as refugees. The UN has described the humanitarian situation in Sudan as one of the most severe in the world.

The MOD described the death of the British ranger in Wales as “non-operational”

 

A British Army commando who was involved in training Ukrainian and Afghan forces died last week in Wales, officials have announced.

 

Corporal Christopher Gill, who was a member of the 4th Battalion of the Ranger Regiment, died last Wednesday during a military exercise in the Crickhowell area of Powys county, according to local law enforcement. Dyfed-Powys Police are jointly investigating the incident with the Health and Safety Executive, the force said in a statement to the press.

 

The Ministry of Defense (MOD) confirmed Gill’s death last Friday, saying it was caused by a non-operational incident in Brecon. The Barracks, a historic military base that serves as HQ for the British Army’s 160th Brigade, is located in the town.

 

Gill was a remarkable soldier and a natural leader, according to a statement from the MOD. He joined the army in 2011 and served in Afghanistan, where he and “a small, close-knit team” of military personnel provided training to the forces of the Western-backed national government of the time.

He later was stationed in Belize, the US, Kenya, and Morocco, before volunteering in 2021 for Army Special Operations, according to his bio. In that capacity, he contributed to the training of Ukrainian soldiers on British soil to fight Russia.

 

The Barracks in Brecon operates an infantry fighting school which prepares soldiers and officers for “high-intensity, light-role war fighting” during “conventional war, counter insurgency, security sector reform, peacekeeping or supporting civil authorities,” according to the British Army’s website. Ukrainian troops have received training at the facility.

 

The military base had faced potential closure by 2024, but the MOD in 2021 decided to keep it operational.

 

The UK has been one of Ukraine’s key backers in its confrontation with Russia. Then-Prime Minister Boris Johnson reportedly convinced the Ukrainian government not to seek a truce with Moscow in 2022 and to pursue a military victory instead. The UK has on several occasions been the first donor of new military capabilities for Ukraine, such as main battle tanks and long-range missiles, which prompted other Western nations to provide similar weapons.

Moscow considers the Ukraine conflict to be a Western proxy war against Russia, in which Ukrainian troops serve as ‘cannon fodder’.

Russian President Vladimir Putin granted citizenship on Monday to a man once dubbed by the nation’s media as “the first US political refugee.” John Anthony Robles was given a Russian passport together with more than a dozen others, including journalists, businessmen, and athletes.

 

Robles arrived in Russia back in 1996, where he was granted refugee status. The American claimed he was being persecuted by the US security services because of his attempts to contact Russian officials and his staunch opposition to “imperialism,” as well as his sympathy to communist ideas.

 

He was believed to have been one of the very first foreign nationals to get asylum in modern Russia. Since his arrival, he has worked as a schoolteacher and an international journalist with the Voice of Russia broadcaster.

 

The list of other foreign nationals granted Russian citizenship under the presidential decree on Monday includes Brazilian professional football player Douglas Santos, who currently plays for the Russian Zenit team based in St. Petersburg, as well as Canadian hockey player and a 2020 Stanley Cup winner Cedric Paquette, who currently plays with the KHL Dynamo Moscow club.

Three Lebanese nationals were given Russian citizenship as well. One of them is Fadi Boudiya, the editor-in-chief of the Miraya International Network. He was injured in an Israeli bombardment in late September while preparing for an on-air interview. The other two are artist and art historian Nizar Daher, an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Jacques Sarraf, a prominent businessman, who has also acted as an honorary Russian consul in Lebanon since 1993.

 

Finnish criminologist, social scientist and publicist Erkki Johan Backman have also been given citizenship. Backman, who worked at the Helsinki University as well as several other scientific and educational facilities in Finland, founded the Anti-fascist Committee of Finland in 2008.

 

He is also known for his criticism of Estonia’s treatment of the Soviet World War II memorials and also published a book about Estonia’s and Finland’s cooperation with Nazi Germany during the WWII. Tallinn declared him persona non-grata in 2009.

One of the loudest voices telling Americans that what Benjamin Netanyahu is doing in the Middle East is a good thing has turned out to be an Israeli spy embedded within the media establishment.

 

Up until recently, anyway, Barak Ravid was an analyst with Unit 8200, a prominent Israeli spying agency. As recently as last year, Ravid was also a reservist with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) military group.

 

Ravid is making a name for himself, though not necessarily in the way he probably intended, by spreading propaganda about how "Netanyahu is on a winning streak," as one of his recent headlines for Axios states. Ravid also went viral on social media recently for an Orwellian post he shared claiming that Israel's attacks on Hezbollah are "not intended to lead to war but are an attempt to reach de-escalation through escalation."

 

Ravid holds incredible power and influence over the Capitol Hill press corps as well. Back in April, he was awarded the prestigious White House Press Correspondents' Award "for overall excellence in White House coverage," this being one of the highest awards in American journalism.

 

American media infested with Israeli spies

Biden personally presented Ravid with the award while embracing him like a brother. Keep in mind that Unit 8200 is Israel's largest and arguably most controversial spying organization, bearing responsibility for all sorts of espionage and terror operations throughout the West, including the recent pager attack in Lebanon.

 

Unit 8200 also constructed the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered kill list that the IDF is using to assassinatethousands of Gaza residents, many of them women and children.

 

"That a known (former) Israeli spy could hug Biden in such a manner speaks volumes about not only the intimate relationship between the United States and Israel but about the extent to which establishment media holds power to account," MacLeod further writes.

Ravid is hardly the only Israeli spy to embed himself into the American media machine for pro-Israel propaganda purposes. Another Unit 8200 spy, Shachar Peled, was hired in 2017 by CNN to be a writer and producer. She spent three years putting together segments for Fareed Zakaria and Christiane Amanpour before eventually being hired by Google to be its Senior Media Specialist.

 

There is also Tal Heinrich, another CNN employee who spent three years as a Unit 8200 agent. Between 2014 and 2017, Heinrich worked as the field and news desk producer for CNN's aggressively pro-Israel Jerusalem Bureau where she developed the propaganda that many media outlets pushed to try to justify Israel's bombardment of Gaza that left more than 2,000 people dead and hundreds of thousands more displaced.

This switch was made because saturated animal fats were thought to be unhealthy, but we have since discovered that seed oils are one of the driving causes of the obesity epidemic. Interestingly enough, began to drastically rise around the same time fast food restaurants switched from beef tallow to seed oils in their fryers.

Anon is a construction manager in Chicago. This doorhanger was on the front entry of a 3 unit building that was fully gutted and rehabbed. Breaking 🚨- More stolen Valor from Tim Walz.

 

After listening to Tim Walz brag about how he is such a skilled shooter, I decided to look if he was an Expert Marksman in the military. It turns out he doesn't even have a marksmanship badge at all or authorized to wear one, but wore one on his Class A uniform anyway.

 

In the Army or National Guard soldiers are required to qualify with their M-4 rifle or M-16. The qualification course is made up of 40 targets ranging from 50 meters-300 meters popping up randomly. You are given 2- 20 rd magazines totaling 40 rds. Soldiers are required to qualify once a year to keep their current status.

 

Marksman- Hit 23-29 out of 40.

Sharpshooter- Hit 30-35 out of 40.

Expert- Hit 36-40 out of 40. ( not easy)

 

Its no surprise Tim Walz decided to pick the Expert Marksmanship badge since its not easy to get. See the pics below, I used my own DD 214 to show you what its suppose to look like if you are authorized to wear one. See how Tim Walz awards are listed but it does not have any marksmanship badges awarded? Then it says nothing follows, that means he doesn't have a continuation on awards to a new block ( for more room) like mine does. NGB22 should mirror the DD214 so it should look like mine. I find it extremely disrespectful to soldiers who actually earned their awards.

Tim Walz is not authorized to wear Expert Marksmanship badge, it is not on his NGB22 (Title 32 National Guard) this is equivalent to a DD 214 it would have that on there if he had one.

An ‘Egyptian bomber’ shot down in western Sudan turned out to be an Il-76 cargo carrier

 

A conflict between the Sudanese Sovereign Council and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has raged since 2023. The RSF called off peace talks with Khartoum earlier this month, vowing to pursue victory on the battlefield.

 

The cargo plane shot down in western Sudan may have had Russian nationals on board, Moscow’s embassy in Khartoum said on Monday, citing RSF claims posted on social media.

 

The embassy said it was “taking all necessary steps to clarify the circumstances of this incident,” in collaboration with Sudanese authorities, adding that the situation is complicated by the fact that the crash site is in Darfur.

 

Photos and videos posted on X from the crash site showed the wreckage of what appeared to be an Il-76 transport plane, and a Russian passport. Another post showed a corporate ID card of Airline Transport Incorporation FZE, based in the UAE, issued to a person with a Russian-sounding name. The card also says ‘Manas International Airport’, which is in Kyrgyzstan.

LA Refinery Closure Adds Long-Haul Demand for Product Tankers in Pacific

Phillips 66 has announced plans to close its refinery in Los Angeles, a sprawling 100-year-old facility adjacent to the San Pedro port complex. The decision takes about 140,000 barrels per day of refining capacity off the California market, and it will prompt shifts in tanker routes to replace the lost volume.

 

The Phillips 66 Los Angeles refinery is a pair of two 650-acre complexes connected by pipeline. The Northwest San Pedro site is next to the Port of LA; the second refinery site is in Carson, five miles away to the northeast. Both will be closed next year.

 

The refinery closure reduces California's refining capacity by about eight percent. Phillips said that it would make up the difference from its other refineries, including the Rodeo Renewable Energy biorefinery in the Bay Area, alongside sources outside of its own refining operations.

 

The closure will affect about 600 employees and 300 contractors. Phillips 66 is working with two commercial developers to look at options for repurposing the properties, and noted that they are strategically located near the San Pedro Bay port complex.

 

According to energy shipping specialists Poten & Partners, the refinery shutdown will increase the amount of fuel that California imports from East Asian refiners. Domestic tanker capacity is nearly at full utilization, and there is no orderbook for additional U.S.-built tankers at present, so Poten believes that additional shipments from the Gulf Coast to California are unlikely. Instead, the consultancy suggests, the replacement fuel will likely come from the place with the greatest capacity to produce it at a favorable cost - East Asia.

 

"We will likely see more imports from longhaul suppliers in Asia to satisfy product demand from California. South Korea is by far California’s largest supplier, but Singapore and India are also regular exporters to the U.S. West Coast. China is another potential supplier of refined products to California," noted Poten. "By the end of 2025 and into 2026, these developments could boost product tanker employment in the Pacific Basin."

BRICS can counter Western sanctions – media CEO

 

Nonkululeko Patricia Mantula has underscored the group’s growing appeal for countries seeking to escape reliance on external systems

 

Nonkululeko Patricia Mantula, founder and CEO of Global South Queens (GSQ) Media House, has told RT.

 

Speaking on the sidelines of the BRICS Business Forum in Moscow, which was held on October 17-18, Mantula highlighted the organization’s capacity to counter the influence of Western narratives, financial systems, and the impact of sanctions.

 

“Now that we’ve seen sanctions being imposed on certain countries, we’ve seen the biasness of some of these international bodies, the BRICS has become a solution,” Mantula noted, reflecting on how the group, which began with Brazil, Russia, India, and China, has grown into a significant platform for cooperation.

 

She pointed out that countries are drawn to BRICS because of its inclusive approach to diversity and mutual respect, both economically and culturally.

 

Mantula emphasized that BRICS offers its members an opportunity to operate independently of Western structures, making them more resilient to potential sanctions. “Within the BRICS countries we are having a bigger population, more natural resources and if we learn to work independently outside of the Western systems, even the sanctions won’t harm us,” she explained.

 

Mantula also referenced a speech by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the forum’s plenary, where he spoke of sanctions imposed on certain countries. “Any one of our countries can be sanctioned next,” Mantula stated, underscoring the potential of BRICS to offer a united front against Western pressures.

 

Nompumelelo Mpofu, CEO of South Africa’s SOC Limited, echoed those sentiments. She emphasized that BRICS enables nations to follow their own paths, free from external pressures. “We are here, we arrived here, with or without the sanctions,” Mpofu stated, underscoring the importance of national sovereignty within the BRICS framework.

 

“The one important issue in South Africa we believe in is to pursue our own national interests,” she concluded.
