An Ilyushin Il-76 cargo plane crashed in North Darfur, Sudan. There are said to be at least two fatalities. A normal crew of an Ilyushin Il-76 would consist of five crew members.

A Rapid Support Forces (RSF) commander claimed to have shot down the aircraft using missiles.

A Robinson R44 Raven II struck a 1000 ft communication tower in Houston, Texas, and crashed.

The four occupants perished, the helicopter was destroyed, the tower collapsed and there was a post crash fire on the ground.
