El Chapo's kids are snitching on the entire Mexican government.
The United States Marshal Services are moving them around significantly for no reason, meaning they are providing "proffer statements" in which they have to be 100% truthful, answer all questions, be available to any and all investigators, disclose literally every crime they have ever committed, or face new charges and lose their deal.
The value of the cooperation is unlimited and entirely up to the judge. However Guzman (son of Chapo) was the one who kidnapped El Mayo so that's 10 points reduction there, and each person they snitch on could be another point.

This shit just got even crazier.
Okay, so El Chapo's sons are snitching. El Chapo never snitched. At trial and on appeal El Chapo was represented by attorney Jeffrey Lichtman in 2019.
Fast forward, Guzman Jr. kidnaps El Mayo (Chapo's boss thus even more valuable than Chapo), and turns himself in just a year after his brother was arrested the second time and extridicted. BOTH of Chapo's kids are also represented by Jeffrey Lichtman.
Now, the crazy part. El Chapo, from ADX, just filed a motion for a new trial on the grounds that his attorney at trial and on appeal (Jeffrey Lichtman) was an ineffective counsel.
Speculation here is this: Guzman Jr.'s kidnapping of El Mayo was set up in advance with the other brother's cooperation during the year he was in custody and for the benefit of both. This is not a small benefit, as it could alone be worth more than enough to release both with no prison time or time served, but El Mayo is worth way too much alone, like he was El Chapo's boss. He was more wanted than Chapo. So, alone, the value left over after both Chapo's kids could be substantial, so they have several options.
First they negotiate for the other 2 brothers not in custody, who are still running the Sinaloa Cartel. The deal would most certainly include not charging their other 2 brothers. Is this the value of El Mayo? Maybe, but Secondly, they start negotiating for their dad El Chapo. This could be problematic because Chapo had no appeals left, and no chance of getting a reduced sentenced, unless he can claim a last ditch effort to retry his case. The only option left is to say his attorney was not effective. This is what all prisoners, and last minute death penalty appeals hedges on so it's like an almost impossible bar to meet. In this case, the SAME attorney that Chapo is claiming is ineffective is the SAME attorney negotiating the deal with Chapo's sons.
IF this last ineffective counsel appeal is granted, Chapo will be assigned a new attorney and his case will essentially restart. The new attorney will start negotiations with the government and those will certainly include the deal his sons made.
Okay, now let's look at this document from a critical thinking point of view. 1) every other document sent to the court from Chapo himself, handwritten, has been in Spanish. Chapo doesn't write or speak English. This documebt is in English. 2) Chapo is in ADX in Colorado, the highest security prison in the country. 3) The document is not in Chapo's handwriting. 4) There is ZERO contact with other prisoners, so no jailhouse lawyers to help. 5) there is zero contact with visitors. 6) Look at the use of ( … ) and other grammar and the large legal words and phrases that are fundamentally unused daily. 7) There is no broadcast television or radio or news (papers and news are purposely weeks old or months old inside ADX and almost certainly entirely in English)…
So, who wrote this? The timing is ironically coincidental.
Chapo's about to get a sweetheart resentence and put in the witness protection program with his sons.
The first document is the appeal, and the second documebt is a former pro se document by Chapo for comparison.

Nestor Isidro Perez Salas "El Nini", former head of security for " Los Chapitos " (El Chapo's kids), is already negotiating a similar agreement with the US authorities . He even managed to have his wife relocated to the US.
We will soon have all of the Chapo kids and their Cartel and family here in the United States.
