TY BAKERS

Looks like PROTO was on for a while, turned it OFF about 15 minutes ago when I returned to the board.

FYI:

PROTO will come on automatically if site is under attack by multiple IPs, could be any board, not just this one.

Often there's someone around to turn it off. If not, it will eventually turn off if the attack breaks off. If ongoing or sporadic, will continue until turned off.

Baker was baking when PROTO came on. Under those conditions, bakers often bake earlier - it's their decision as long as there's a bun ready to bake, it's in Globals. Bun was full, baker baked.

PROTO is our main defense again turbo attacks, especially those where thousands of unique IP's are used to simultaneously hit the board. When such attacks are detected, PROTO goes on so that only PROTO users can post. Stops the attack in its tracks.

Originally came mid bread to post on PROTO, only later checked top of bread. Yes, i see - looks like Gerbs baked to get his warroom stuff on top of the bread.

Not the best of reasons.

Bakers do not need an excuse to bake breads.

However, if they bake early simply to post a bunch of stuff that is of greatest interest to them, that's not a good reason. Probably need to make that a rule, although any idiot can see it's not ok.
