Residents in North Carolina will have the opportunity in November to clarify requirements pertaining to voting. Fox News reported on Thursday that House Bill 1074 would clarify the state constitution’s wording to say that citizens are the only persons allowed to vote in state elections. The report noted that non-citizens are already barred from voting in North Carolina.The bill is also being called the “Citizen Only Voting” amendment. The outlet reported: North Carolina law currently reads that “every person born in the United States and every person who has been naturalized, 18 years of age, and possessing the qualifications set out in this Article, shall be entitled to vote at any election
