IDF spokesman says no current changes to home front guidelines as Israel strikes Iran

In a brief video statement, IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari says there are no changes to instructions for civilians at this time, as strikes are being carried out in Iran.
“The IDF is fully prepared in attack and defense. We are following the developments from Iran and its proxies in the region,” he says.
“We are conducting a continuous assessment of the situation in the home front, and at this stage, there is no change in the instructions of the Home Front Command. You must continue to be alert and vigilant, and obey the guidelines of the Home Front Command,” Hagari adds.
He says further updates will be provided as needed.

Former child actor Joao Rebello found shot dead inside his vehicle in Brazilian resort town Porto Seguro
A former child actor was found shot to death in his vehicle, police in the northeastern Brazilian resort city of Porto Seguro said.
JoĂŁo Rebello, 45, was sitting in his SUV when two men rode up on a motorcycle and opened fire Thursday evening, witnesses told the police.
The gunmen shot Rebello at point-blank range, striking him 12 times and fled from the scene.
The Porto Seguro Civil Police did not provide a motive for Rebello's murder and had not made any arrests as of Friday afternoon.

Air defenses shot down 31 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions in the past day, Russia’s Defense Ministry said.
According to the ministry, two fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were downed over the Belgorod Region, ten over the Kursk Region, nine over the Oryol Region and three over the Bryansk Region.
In addition, three Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the Sea of Azov, another three over the Belgorod Region and one over the Bryansk Region.
A small balloon was shot down over the Rostov Region.

Lebanon Expresses Outrage After Israeli Warplanes Strike Group Of Journalists: 'War Crime'
Lebanon has accused Israel of committing a war crime after a group of journalists in south Lebanon came under attack by Israeli warplanes. Three journalists were killed during an air raid on a hotel or guesthouse in Hasbaya, about 50km south of Beirut and near the Syrian border.
BBC is reporting that "The attack was carried out on a guesthouse in a compound in Hasbaya being used by more than a dozen journalists from at least seven media organizations - with a courtyard containing cars clearly marked with 'press'.
The three slain journalists worked for regional broadcasters Al-Manar TV and Al Mayadeen TV, which confirmed the deaths in statements, identifying the deceased as Ghassan Najjar, Mohammad Reda, and Wissam Qassem.

Israeli official to NBC: Strikes not targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities or oil fields
Israel is not striking Iranian nuclear facilities or oil fields and is focusing on military targets, NBC cites an unnamed Israeli official as saying.
“We’re targeting things that might have threatened us in the past or could do in the future,” the official is quoted saying.
The Biden Administration has been urging Israel not to strike such targets, while backing Israel’s right to respond to Iran’s October 1 ballistic missile attack.

Syrian state media says Israel hit military sites in south and center of country

Syria’s state-run SANA news agency reports that Israel struck several military sites in southern and central Syria at around 2 a.m.
The strikes came simultaneously as Israel launched attacks on Iran.
SANA says that air defenses shot down some of the Israeli missiles, and authorities are still assessing the damage.
