I was at Applebee's for Veteran's Day with my father, cousin, and aunt. I was speaking to my father and told him that people were leaving the United States. He said good. I said Prince Harry and Megan were leaving too. He asked me where, but I couldn't remember. My father said "Maybe they're moving to Canada?"
Then when we were done with dinner, a man that was leaving came up and said that whoever voted for Trump was going to be sorry and maybe he should move to Canada.
Then he walked away.
My father is too hard of hearing, but it really was a stunner to us at the table. More than likely he was a Harris supporter and overheard our conversation.
