We just started indexing our caps not too long ago.
When we cook we usually fix enough for 2-3 days and that way the time spent cooking is amortized over multiple meals and we have wholesome home made food to eat without having to resort to something packaged.
It's an obvious strategy for intelligent busy people who want to stay healthy.
What's not to like?
Soup and stew get tastier the 2nd day.
I pity people who throw out food as it's getting better.
Wasting food is a slap in the face to our Creator. (Not to mention to the people who grew the food, and to those who don't have enough to eat.)
