JUST IN: Wisconsin Judge Enforces Subpoena Against ActBlue in Lawsuit Over Fraudulent Use of Information for ActBlue Finance Money Laundering AKA “Smurfing”

A Wisconsin judge has approved a subpoena for documents requested in an October lawsuit alleging nearly 400 incidents of identity theft to make fraudulent donations to Democratic campaigns through ActBlue “smurfs.”

This could open the door for a range of ongoing investigations into the ActBlue fundraising platform.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported on the lawsuit alleging racketeering and identity theft filed by the America First Policy Institute on behalf of Plaintiff Mark Block.

Block, a long-time Republican political strategist, alleged that his personal information was used over the previous five months to launder money 385 times to 62 different campaigns and political organizations, including 35 donations to the Harris Victory Fund, through the Democratic ActBlue fundraising platform. This comes after he discovered receipts for ActBlue contributions sent to his pseudonymous email address using the same fake name.

"While these fraudulent donations average out to a very small $3.24 per transaction, they conveniently fit into a loophole created by Federal Election Commission (FEC) reporting requirements," the initial complaint states.

During a November 21 hearing, Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Brad D. Schimel approved a limited demand for documents to show to what extent fraud was used to make these donations.

“Something is not right,” said Judge Schimel. "Plaintiff has set forth enough in their complaint and in support of their subpoena to demonstrate that there may be something here."

The judge rejected some of the discovery requests for ActBlue's fraud safeguards but allowed a more narrow request to determine how the likely fraudulent payments using Block's email address were made.

ActBlue attorneys argued that they are "not a party to this action" and, therefore, not required to turn over requested documents.

However, the judge disagreed, calling ActBlue a “nonparty conduit for contributions” while noting that "something isn't right" and expressing confusion over ActBlue's "substantial resistance to sharing" information on the likely fraudulent donations.

The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on the laundering of money to political campaigns through fraudulent small-dollar donations to ActBlue, also known as “smurfing.” These contributions are made through identity theft, oftentimes using senior citizens’ personal information to funnel money into political causes.

Some of the individuals accused of this fraudulent scheme include Soros-funded Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, Soros Funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Democrat Senator Tammy Baldwin (WI), Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock (GA), and Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz.

Trump-Endorsed Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake's 2024 race also appears to have been targeted by ActBlue smurfs, helping her opponent Democrat Ruben Gallego.

Much of this money appears to come from foreign sources and is being laundered by Democrats through Ukraine. The Gateway Pundit recently reported that former Polish Minister Piotr Kulpa said up to half of the US aid to Ukraine was laundered by Ukrainians, and much was given to US Democrats.

Additionally, the Committee on House Administration's chairman Bryan Steil issued subpoenas "related to ActBlue's donor verification policies and the potential for foreign actors to use the platform to launder illicit money into US political campaigns."

Steil said in a press release, “The Committee’s investigation uncovered that foreign actors might be taking advantage of ActBlue’s inadequate security protocols. To ensure that foreign money is not being laundered through ActBlue, we are requesting a series of documents and communications related to their donor security and verification policies."

Fears UK could face 'quintupledemic' this month with five diseases hitting at once

Health experts have warned a so-called 'quintupledemic', which could see the UK being hit by five simultaneous waves of diseases, could strike before the end of the year.

Dr Joseph Ambani claims it is a real possibility that flu, RSV, Covid, Norovirus and mpox could converge at the same time and put a huge strain on the NHS over the festive period.

He explained: "The concept of a 'quintupledemic' may sound dramatic. However, it's a realistic concern in a winter where Norovirus, mpox, Covid-19, RSV, and flu could circulate simultaneously.

"Each virus has its unique transmission dynamics, but what makes this scenario particularly unsettling is the overlap in their seasonal peaks and the strain this could place on our healthcare systems.

"Winter provides a perfect storm for viral transmission. Closed spaces, festive gatherings, and waning immunity from vaccines or past infections create a fertile ground for outbreaks."

He also emphasised the potential toll it will have on people over Christmas. "The human impact of such a scenario cannot be overstated," he explained. "Imagine hospitals stretched thin, families cancelling festive plans due to illness, and caregivers juggling the overlapping demands of multiple infections."

Echoing these sentiments, Dr Bruno Silvester Lopes of Teesside University warned of the reality of facing increased cases of norovirus, mpox, COVID-19, RSV, and influenza at the same time during winter, reports the Mirror.

He explained: "The concept of a 'quintupledemic' may sound dramatic. However, it's a realistic concern in a winter where Norovirus, mpox, Covid-19, RSV, and flu could circulate simultaneously.

Dr Lopes has suggested that such phenomena arise "due to overlapping seasonal activity, weakened immunity, and increased social interactions".

Despite the threat of a quintupledemic, Dr Lopes says people can boost their changes of avoiding falling ill by handwashing and using masks in crowded spaces.

He continued: "Public health awareness, robust surveillance, and individual vigilance are essential in preparing and addressing these outbreaks effectively."

It comes after an identification of a fifth case of Clade 1b mpox in Leeds, which differs from the cases identified in London. With the situation evolving, the UKHSA's chief medical adviser Susan Hopkins addressed public concerns by saying: "It is thanks to clinicians rapidly recognising the symptoms and our diagnostics tests that we have been able to detect this new case.

"The risk to the UK population remains low following this fifth case, and we are working rapidly to trace close contacts and reduce the risk of any potential spread."

The NHS lists typical symptoms of mpox, including a rash, fever, headache, muscle aches, backache, swollen glands, shivering exhaustion and joint pain, with the rash usually showing up one to five days after the first signs appear.

Russian Ship Fires Warning Shots At German Military Helicopter In Baltic Sea

In a rare dangerous incident and close-call, European media reports have described that the crew of a Russian ship 'fired' upon a Germany army helicopter which was monitoring the vessel's movements in the Baltic Sea.

"German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced increased surveillance in the Baltic Sea after a Russian ship fired at a Bundeswehr helicopter during a mission," EuroNews writes.

The Bundeswehr helicopter was confirmed to have been on a reconnaissance mission at an unclear date and time, but the Russian ship - described in The Daily Mail as a warship - fired signaling ammunition in an apparent effort to warn the aircraft off.

Baerbock disclosed the incident for the first time on the sidelines of a NATO foreign minister's meeting in Brussels, but gave few other details.

"Signal ammunition is used for warning shots rather than attack, but this sort of incident is a sign of how close NATO and Russia are getting to facing each other directly," Daily Mail concludes.

Currently there's a lot of Western monitoring of the Baltic Sea after several communications cables which link Finland, Sweden, Germany, and Lithuania were severed in a suspected sabotage incident.

Allegations and focus have remained on the Chinese vessel Yi Peng 3 which was observed in the area at the time of the suspected sabotage. It's believed to have intentionally dragged its anchor to damage the underwater cables. The Swedish government has demanded answers of Beijing.

Tensions have been soaring of late between Berlin and Moscow, given Baerbock on Tuesday also told NATO allies that all options are on the table regarding the Ukraine war, presumably even the potential for deploying Western troops there.
