Whatever I may have said about Vrillon's perspective on money, the central thrust of his message is entirely correct: If people can't figure out how to get along, we're fucked. He may have focused on kinetic weaponry, as many have since the dawn of nuclear arms, yet I would extend that to all forms of technology asserted aggressively against those who do not consent to being subjected to them. Basically, people have to figure out how to use technology without weaponizing it against each other.
Tall order for sure, but that's the crisis we face. Too much kicking the can down the road has led us to this break point.
