Democrats around the country are still licking their wounds after last month’s stinging election defeat — but the party might be sailing toward an even bigger iceberg.

New research from progressive polling outfit Navigator Research shows the party’s reputation is in tatters even among previous backers, who have come to view the Dems as weak, obsessed with “woke” initiatives such DEI and overly accommodating to the elites at the expense of the middle class.

Slick Willie Hospitalized for a fever? Ya, right!

Former President Bill Clinton has been hospitalized in Washington after developing a fever, a top aide told NBC News on Monday.

Clinton, 78, "has been admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for testing and observation after developing a fever," said Angel Ureña, Clinton's deputy chief of staff.

I was unable to post here a few days ago because I didn't have a Proton account. I'm now a paying subscriber of Proton from the "Is It Wet Yet" site with a personal account and credentials, but I haven't been prompted to use Proton for posting ever since I created the account. What's up with that? Was I snookered? Anyone else receive the "must be a Proton subscriber to post" error message?

The fucking RINOs and Demoncrats are going to sabotage PDJT. Nothing short of extortion by pushing Mike Johnson as speaker….or else!

Three days before the January 6, 2025, confirmation, a new Congress will be seated, and the U.S. House of Representatives will need to choose a speaker. Whether that speaker will be Rep. Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) or someone else remains to be seen.

Some Republicans fear that a contentious battle to get a speaker confirmed could delay Trump's certification on January 6. These Republicans, Rahman reports, are "urging" Trump" to publicly reaffirm support for him to avoid a lengthy battle to replace him."

Such a battle took place in January 2023 following the 2022 midterms, which found Republicans flipping the House. After then-Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-California) was nominated for speaker, it took no less than 15 votes before he was finally confirmed. And McCarthy held that position until being ousted in October 2023.

Only 6 corporations own and operate ALL MAINSTREAM media in the U.S.Disney is one of those companies. What the hell does Disney know about news, other than to censor anything that exposes its evil empire of pedophiles and groomers?

Many politicians receive campaign contributions from Disney, isn't that interesting.

In a letter to Disney’s CEO Bob Iger, Brendan Carr lamented the “erosion in public trust” in news media, and suggested ABC was partially to blame. Carr said the agency would be “monitoring” ABC’s negotiations with local television stations that carry its programming.

The letter, which was obtained by CNN, appears to be using the issue of network affiliate agreements as a way to target media outlets, signaling how Trump’s incoming FCC will be going after a press he has long demonized and litigated against.

"Nobody is above the law" except Democrats. "God bar Bob" fixin' to be let off the hook.

Five months after a jury convicted Sen. Bob Menendez of corruption-related charges that ended his political career, federal prosecutors have admitted to a series of errors that could upend the verdicts.

The missteps have handed Menendez’s attorneys just the kind of opening they’d been looking for, and they have already requested a new trial. If they get their way, Menendez could beat federal charges once again — a remarkable prospect given the stash of gold bars and piles of cash used as evidence against him.

Earlier this month, Gov. Tim Walz sat down for one of his first one-on-one interviews with a Minnesota media outlet in four months and told MPR News that he will not publicly back Martin in his bid for DNC chair. That came almost a month after Martin announced he is running for the position.

Martin is considered by some as an early frontrunner and competing with neighboring Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler. Also in the running are former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and New York State Sen. James Skoufis.

And while a number of prominent Minnesota Democrats backed Martin almost immediately, including Attorney General Keith Ellison and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, the two-term governor of Minnesota had been mostly silent until the MPR interview.
