How the Left’s Lies Undermine Democracy.

If you want to see the Democrats' view of the infantile public in action, spend three minutes looking at the way House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries explains recent policy debates.

What’s the meaning of a 1,547-page appropriations bill? It is good; it is helping people. Opposition is hurting people; it is extreme. Ask no further questions…

In the contest between American constitutional government and administrative rule by unelected bureaucrats, as much depends on the control of information and the public square as on the balance of hard power. Chris Bray looks to Walter Lippmann, one of the leading lights of the Progressive era, to explain how the distinctive propaganda of the destructive Left traces back to the very origins of administrative rule and how it is used to advance the interests and ascendancy of the supposed "experts".

Government watchdog FGI sues the State Department for withholding FOIA documents on alleged censorship, free speech suppression, and media blacklisting.

Despite acknowledging receipt of the FOIA requests, the State Department failed to produce any records or claim exemptions. “Defendant has failed to comply with the time limit set forth…” the complaint states, adding that FGI has exhausted all administrative remedies.

The nonprofit argues that the requested documents could provide critical insights into State Department activities, including its approach to EU regulations and responses to media inquiries. “FGI is being irreparably harmed by reason of Defendant’s unlawful withholding of requested records,” the complaint asserts.

The watchdog’s investigation gained traction after The New York Post revealed in September that the State Department had worked to discredit journalists and a congressman who questioned its funding activities.

One instance involved a memo targeting Gabe Kaminsky of the Washington Examiner and Matt Taibbi, known for the “Twitter Files,” for their reporting on GEC’s grants.

‘Trump is not wrong’: MSNBC analyst admits immigration policy ‘not Biden’s finest moment’.

Isn't Kamala the border czar?

A “Morning Joe” contributor on left-leaning MSNBC admitted that the administration’s immigration policies were “not Biden’s finest moment” and conceded that President-elect Donald Trump “is not wrong” about the low number of illegal crossings when he left office.

Steve Rattner, a former Obama administration official who now manages the personal and philanthropic assets of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, made the surprising statements Thursday during a segment that analyzed key trends of 2024.

Rattner pointed to one chart from an op-ed that he wrote for the New York Times earlier this week that showed the stark contrast between the number of border crossings before and after Biden took office.

Federal appeals court strikes down Biden net neutrality rules.

A federal appeals court ruled this week the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) lacked the authority to restore certain net neutrality rules last year, handing a blow to FCC Democrats and Biden administration officials who pushed for revived open internet measures.

The Tuesday ruling by the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals overturns last year’s FCC vote, which reinstated the net neutrality rules barring broadband providers from blocking or throttling internet traffic to some websites and speeding up access to others that pay extra fees.

Biden admin spent $1 billion on DEI-based education grants, including millions in Minnesota.

Multiple grants were for programs that prioritize race-based teacher recruitment, hiring, and training, in addition to grants that support youth activism programs.

DEI grants in Minnesota:

The University of Minnesota received more than $2.2 million in federal funding for DEI initiatives, according to the report. It lists two grants to the university: one for $1 million and another for $1.2 million that both aimed to “increase the number and diversity of fully qualified school psychologists” in select schools districts.

“The Project leverages collaborative efforts between the Minnesota School Psychologists Association, the Minnesota Collective for Educational Equity, and the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement in order to achieve project objectives and sustain investments well beyond the proposed five-year project,” a grant description reads.

Alpha News contacted the University of Minnesota to ask specific questions about how the taxpayer-funded grants are being used, but the university did not respond to inquiries.

U of M hit with federal civil rights complaint for racially discriminatory program:

The University of Minnesota was recently hit with a federal civil rights complaint regarding a race-based program—and it isn’t the first time the feds have been called in to the state to investigate.
