Current and former Minneapolis police officers say MPD’s Katie Blackwell perjured herself during Derek Chauvin trial.

"Every MPD officer knows that restraint was trained, and every MPD officer knows it was trained as part of the MRT process," current and former MPD officers said in sworn declarations.

The group of officers say they believe Blackwell perjured herself when she testified in court that the restraint method Chauvin used to subdue George Floyd in May 2020 was not a part of MPD officer training. In that trial, Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. He was sentenced to 22 years in prison. However, many say the knee-on-neck restraint Chauvin employed was trained under the maximal-restraint technique (MRT), a restraint the MPD taught and allowed until 2023.

Another Walz cannabis ‘czar’ steps down.

Longtime DFL operative Charlene Briner announced she is leaving her role as acting director of the Office of Cannabis Management; no reason was cited.

The longtime DFL bureaucrat who Gov. Tim Walz tapped to help him appoint the state’s first-ever (and short-lived) cannabis “czar” has stepped down as the agency continues well into its second year without a permanent director.

Charlene Briner was first hired by Gov. Walz in summer 2023 to help lead the administrative launch of the newly created Office of Cannabis Management. At the time, Briner was a consultant for the Department of Agriculture and previously worked for the House DFL caucus as a communications specialist, the Department of Health as a deputy commissioner, and had once run for state legislature as a DFL-endorsed candidate.

One of Briner’s chief responsibilities for the Office of Cannabis Management was to field applications for its first director, just two months after Walz signed a marijuana legalization bill into law.

Ironically, it was Briner who ended up effectively serving in that role for the last 18 months as Walz has yet to officially hire a permanent director for an office that is tasked with overseeing the marijuana consumer landscape, expungements process for prior weed-related offenses and a budding sales industry that has yet to launch.

The "fact-checkers" deployed to hide TRUTH will no longer be liberals' crutch. Time to face the facts, snowflakes, and deal with them.

“We don’t want to get between people and the posts they may find valuable, and after testing various approaches to political content in recent years we will begin to treat it more like other types of content on our platforms,” Meta said in a statement.

That includes recommending political posts to users who give off signals that they want to see such content, Kaplan said.

Meta is also shifting its content moderation team out of California, where the company is headquartered, to Texas. The hope is that the shift will help restore confidence in the team, Zuckerberg said.

Zuckerberg, who recently met with Trump, also said that Meta will be working with the president-elect to push back against governments around the world that are seeking to censor people, including the Chinese Communist Party. Zuckerberg said it’s been difficult during the Biden administration because even the U.S. government has been advocating for censorship, which he said has “emboldened” other governments.

“I’m looking forward to this next chapter,” Zuckerberg said.

University of Minnesota promotes racial division, violates civil rights.

Minnesota’s controversial Design Justice program violates federal civil rights laws through racial segregation under the guise of inclusion.

In a fiery letter to U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona and U.S. Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Catherine Lhamon, they denounce the taxpayer-funded program as a discriminatory initiative that pits students against each other based on the color of their skin.

“Discrimination under the guise of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is still discrimination. It is unacceptable that the University of Minnesota continues to foster this type of division among the student body,” said Emmer and the Minnesota Republican delegation, including Reps. Brad Finstad, Michelle Fischbach, and Pete Stauber, in a statement provided to Alpha News.

Finstad, a U of M alumnus, previously led a letter in May 2023 regarding another discriminatory program on campus.

Zuckerberg drops censorship, "fact-checking" and disinformation like a hot potato.

Mark Zuckerberg, the man who used his power and position to interfere in elections and silence anyone who dared disagree with the left, is back in the news. And this time, it’s because he’s suddenly abandoned his censorship, "fact-checking" and disinformation agenda. That’s right—Mark Zuckerberg just dropped it like a hot potato.

As you will see in this video, Zuckerberg has learned the hard way that elections have YUGE consequences, especially when he's been playing the role of a Marxist censorship puppet for the outgoing Biden regime.
