I'm talking about the attempts to create a cohesive machine structured system out of the real world. It's never going to work, and can only destroy things, because such a system can't actually create new things, but only destroy things which are already there. Because this world began with a system which already worked, fucking around with it like that can only further degrade it. This is why the world ends up in the state which it is in now at the end of an age.
Attempting to digitize the entire world through computers and the Internet has just sped up that process to the point it can be witnessed directly within a single generation, making it much more clear and obvious to people. Those who believe they can derive power from machines will continue to blame everyone but themselves for what is happening, destroying everything which they hold power over until they have nothing left.
