Yeah, a lot of them are going into woke DEI territory. I wouldn't call them pinnacles of cinema or anything but they're an entertaining diversion for an hour or two that's more often than not visually stunning because of the special effects. I think it's a bit of nostalgia as well that keeps me watching them.

I'd like to see more renditions from books as opposed to comics, ones that haven't been made yet, staying true to the source material and not shoehorning in political messaging. It's the turning of entertainment that's supposed to suspend disbelief into political and moral lectures that's what's killing the profits of that industry.
