I've missed a few breads, forgive me if this has been mentioned.

In the last few months, every single day we saw a steady bombardment of (ahem) "contrails" clogging up the sky. I don't think I'd ever seen it so thick and consistent. The air quality has been awful with multiple advisories recently. Very dry in our rainy season.

The "contrails" have completely disappeared as of the day the fires started. Not even a small hint of exhaust from jets anywhere, just clear blue anywhere there isn't smoke.

Another amazing coincidence. Also, several overnight explosions being reported all around. Much louder than transformers, this morning there was one near me and it sounded almost like cannon fire.
