Biden Unilaterally Declares Changes To The US Constitution With Two Days Left In Office

President Joe Biden released a statement Friday declaring that the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) “has become part of our Constitution.”

Biden asserted that as of 2020, 38 states have ratified the amendment and stated it should now be recognized as “the law of the land,” according to a White House press release. The amendment is meant to ensure equal rights for men and women in the U.S., but some interpretations of the text have implied it would erase gender distinctions and grant abortion protections.

“The American Bar Association (ABA) has recognized that the Equal Rights Amendment has cleared all necessary hurdles to be formally added to the Constitution as the 28th Amendment,” the White House statement reads. “I agree with the ABA and with leading legal constitutional scholars that the Equal Rights Amendment has become part of our Constitution.”

“As Archivist and Deputy Archivist of the United States, it is our responsibility to uphold the integrity of the constitutional amendment process and ensure that changes to the Constitution are carried out in accordance with the law,” Archivist of the United States Dr. Colleen Shogan and Deputy Archivist William J. Bosanko said in a statement in Dec. 2024. “At this time, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) cannot be certified as part of the Constitution due to established legal, judicial, and procedural decisions.”

The National Archives informed the Daily Caller News Foundation that this remains their position and that “the underlying legal and procedural issues have not changed.”

“Equality is a fundamental promise of our democracy,” Vice President Kamala Harris wrote in a statement Friday. “That is why the Equal Rights Amendment belongs in our Constitution. It makes our nation stronger, and it is the law of the land because the American people have spoken in states across our nation.”

The amendment was passed by Congress in 1972 but failed to be ratified by the required three-quarters of states within the seven-year deadline.

Biden’s announcement was released as the president has only two full days remaining in office.

Former Democratic Missouri Rep. Cori Bush and Democratic Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley revived the push for the amendment in 2023, stating its necessity due to “Women and LGBTQ folks facing daily sexism, pregnancy discrimination, pay inequity, sexual violence, and persistent legislative attacks on our bodily autonomy.”

The ERA could potentially eliminate single-sex spaces — such as bathrooms and locker rooms — as it does not define “sex” and could be interpreted to include gender identity.

Biden previously tried to rewrite of Title IX to include protections for “gender identity,” though this rule was ultimately shot down by a federal court in January and later revoked by the administration.

The White House did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

In other words, the Deep State wins again.

The revelation here is not that Trump broke the law but the extent to which sitting presidents get a free pass when it comes to misconduct.

None of this is news.

‘Unbreakable Bond’: Britain and Ukraine to Sign 100-Year Alliance

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom spoke of an “unbreakable bond” with Ukraine as he made an unannounced visit to Kyiv to sign a surprise 100-year military and economic treaty with Kyiv.

Sir Keir Starmer is making his first visit to Ukraine since becoming Prime Minister some six months ago on Thursday, announcing his travel with the obligatory train journey photographs made necessary by the war-imposed no-fly zone. In a statement ahead of his meetings with Volodymyr Zelensky, Starmer announced he is planning to sign a 100-year treaty today, hailed as a “historic 100 Year Partnership to continue to support Ukraine now and invest in our two countries for the future” which formalises an “unbreakable bond” between the two nations.

The Prime Minister called Russia’s war a “monumental strategic failure” as it had pushed Ukraine and Western nations like the United Kingdom “closer than ever”, and prompted them to take their friendship “to the next level”. Starmer claimed: “Through this partnership, we are creating a strong economy that works for the British people, a safe country that protects our interests at home and abroad, and a prosperous society.”

The government statement on the treaty states it will encompass defence and civilian areas including trade and cultural links including “scientific and technology partnerships, in areas such as healthcare and disease, agri-tech, space and drones… It also cements the UK as a preferred partner for Ukraine’s energy sector, critical minerals strategy and green steel production.”.

On the military side, the Anglo-Ukrainian treaty appears to be preoccupied with maritime security — which was already a major feature of the relationship between the two countries before Russia’s 2022 re-invasion — with mention of the Baltic, Black Sea, and Sea of Azov.

The actual content of the treaty and the political declaration that comes with it will be debating in the UK Parliament in the coming weeks, the government said.

Starmer shackling the United Kingdom to Ukraine for a century has been widely interpreted in the British press as a message to Donald Trump just days before the inauguration. In defiance of Trump’s determination to bring peace to the region quickly, the United Kingdom — as well as several other European states — makes much of its determination to keep Ukraine fighting.

The Times states as well as the treaty, Starmer is expected to announce a new tranche of funding to Kyiv today worth £40 million ($49m), while The Guardian states the possibility of the United Kingdom deploying troops to Ukraine itself as part of a multinational peacekeeping force intended to deter future Russian aggression. Israeli Strikes Kill at Least 87 Palestinians in Gaza Since Ceasefire Deal Announced

Among the dead are 21 children and 25 women

Israeli strikes on Gaza have been relentless since it was announced on Wednesday that Israel and Hamas had reached a ceasefire deal, which is expected to take effect on Sunday.

Al Jazeera reported that as of Thursday night in Gaza, at least 87 Palestinians had been killed since the ceasefire was announced, including 21 children and 25 women. At least 40 of the dead were killed since dawn on Thursday.

Israeli attacks on Thursday included heavy bombing in northern Gaza. In Jabalia, at least 20 Palestinians were killed by Israeli strikes. Israeli strikes also pounded Gaza City, including an attack that hit a school-turned-shelter and killed at least two children.

The Israeli military said that it bombed 50 targets across Gaza in 24 hours. The IDF claimed it hit “terror targets” but offered no evidence. Haaretz recently revealed that Israeli soldiers frequently kill unarmed civilians and count them as “terrorists” and also bomb buildings where there was previously a Hamas presence, even if there no longer is one.

Yemen’s Houthis To Stop Attacks on Israel If Gaza Ceasefire Is Implemented

The Houthis' leader warned there would be more attacks if Israel doesn't abide by the ceasefire deal

Yemen’s Houthis are expected to stop their attacks on Israel and Red Sea shipping if Israel upholds its end of the Gaza ceasefire deal it has reached with Hamas.

The Houthis, officially known as Ansar Allah, began their attacks in 2023 in response to the US-backed Israeli onslaught in Gaza. The US began a bombing campaign against the Yemeni group in January 2024, but it has only escalated the situation.

President Biden’s special envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, has previously acknowledged that the Houthis would likely stop their attacks if there were a ceasefire in Gaza.

On Thursday, Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi said Ansar Allah would monitor the ceasefire, which is expected to take effect on Sunday, and warned there would be more attacks if Israel didn’t follow the deal.

“We will continue to monitor developments in Palestine during the three days prior to the entry into force of the Gaza agreement. If the Israeli massacres continue, we will continue our operations,” al-Houthi said.

“At any stage in which the aggression retreats from the agreement, we will be ready to provide military support to our Palestinian brothers,” al-Houthi added.

Al-Houthis comments signaled that Yemeni attacks on Israel could continue until the ceasefire is implemented since Israel has continued to bomb Gaza. In recent weeks, the Houthis have stepped up missile attacks on Israel, with some making it past air defenses. Israel has responded with heavy airstrikes on Yemen, which have only hit civilian targets.

Al-Houthi vowed Yemen would not back in the face of further attacks. He said Ansar Allah will “confront any aggression, whether by the Israelis, the Americans, or their allies, or any attempts to divert our country from its liberated jihadist path.”

NGOs continue to fuel mass migration to U.S. border, despite Trump’s planned crackdown

As President-elect Donald Trump prepares to implement sweeping changes to U.S. immigration policy, a sprawling network of United Nations-affiliated and independent nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) is doubling down on efforts to support mass migration to the U.S. southern border – using billions in American taxpayer dollars.

The UN’s 2025-2026 Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan (RMRP), released shortly after Trump’s reelection, outlines a $1.4 billion budget to assist 2.3 million foreign nationals moving through 17 Latin American countries toward the U.S. border. The plan, spearheaded by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), includes funding for cash assistance, food, shelter, transportation and legal services for migrants.

The U.S. is the largest contributor to these UN agencies, providing $1.9 billion to the UNHCR in 2023 alone – a staggering increase from $377 million in 2019. Critics argue that this funding has inadvertently fueled the largest illegal immigration surge in U.S. history, which The New York Times recently attributed to President Joe Biden’s “welcoming immigration policy.”

Billions in U.S. taxpayer dollars fund migration support

The RMRP document details how U.S. taxpayer dollars will be used to support migrants en route to the U.S. border. In 2025, $259 million is earmarked for “cash, voucher assistance and multi-purpose cash assistance” to 390,000 individuals, distributed via rechargeable debit cards, bank transfers and mobile payments. Another $134 million will provide food for 851,600 people, while $297 million will fund shelter for 735,000 migrants, including hotels and long-term rentals.

The plan also allocates $13.5 million for “humanitarian transportation” and $150 million for health services, among other expenditures. These funds are intended to sustain migrants as they traverse dangerous routes, such as the Darien Gap between Colombia and Panama, where migration flows have already dropped by 40% in anticipation of Trump’s stricter policies.

The RMRP initiative began in 2019 to address the exodus of Venezuelans fleeing their collapsing economy. However, the program has since expanded to support migrants of “other nationalities…engaging in transit and onward movements” to the U.S. southern border.

Legal and propaganda efforts aim to counter U.S. border policies

The RMRP document also reveals plans to allocate $204 million for “protection” services, including legal assistance and counseling to counter “restrictive and security-focused approaches” to migration. This funding will support efforts to challenge deportations, detentions and returns to countries deemed unsafe by migrant advocates.

Eduardo Stein, the UN’s Joint Special Representative for Venezuelan Refugees and Migrants, emphasized the need to “change the narrative” around migration in the document’s introduction. “It is essential to…keep striving for bringing to the fore the positive narrative of the contributions [migrants] can provide to receiving communities,” Stein wrote.

Critics argue that these efforts are designed to undermine Trump’s planned border crackdown, which includes a “detain-and-expel” policy to replace Biden’s “catch-and-release” approach. By sustaining migrants in third countries, the UN and NGOs may be positioning themselves to facilitate future migration surges if Trump’s policies falter or a more immigration-friendly administration takes office.

In a terse statement, the Shin Bet said Katz’s decision was made without the security agency’s prior knowledge, and noted that the defense minister did not consult with the agency for an assessment of the implications of the decision.

Katz in November announced an end to new administrative detention orders for West Bank settlers, meaning Israel would only use the controversial policy of holding suspects without charge against Palestinian terror suspects.

Summing up, we see that despite all the victorious pathos of Zionism, it is obvious that they do not have a clear strategy and for this reason they rush from one plan to another. Nevertheless, on the side of “Israel” are such facts as the presence in Syria of the international Takfiris, who are known for seeing enemies in everyone except “Israel”, Turkey’s problems in creating a new government with the presence of Ankara loyalists and the new dictatorship named Tahrir al-Sham, which assured the Zionists of its desire for peaceful coexistence.

In addition to Iran and Turkey, Zionism identifies two main components of the Palestinian resistance as a future ravine in Syria. However, at this stage, the situation again favors the Zionists, because the Syrian al-Qaeda is not going to provide Hamas with conditions for fighting the occupiers.

Thus, if we once again list all the main concerns of the Zionists in Syria – Iran, Turkey, the Islamic Resistance of Palestine (Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad), and compare the level of threat from this trio, we will come to the conclusion that Iran continues to be the most dangerous enemy of the Zionists. This argument is confirmed by the Zionists themselves. In addition to the collapse of Syria and the use of the Emirates to control Damascus, another option for influencing the Syrian Republic is increasingly being reported from supporters of the right wing of the “Israeli establishment” – the occupation of the entire south up to Damascus. 6 Chabad tunnel defendants plead guilty

The judge also scolded the defendants in the courtroom.

Six men who were arrested in an attempt to dig a tunnel into the Brooklyn headquarters of the Chabad Hasidic movement accepted plea deals on Monday, while four others opted to go to trial.

The guilty pleas were the latest stage in the Chabad tunnel saga, which burst into view one year ago when a fracas broke out at a synagogue in the Chabad-Lubavitch world headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway. A group of men broke down a wall at the synagogue as part of an attempt to tunnel into the building, part of a bid to expand the headquarters. Investigators found that the tunnel stretched 60 feet.

The incident gained international attention and led to more than a dozen arrests and citations, while 770 was closed for days out of structural integrity concerns. Chabad leadership denounced the tunnelers as a fringe group.

On Monday, six defendants accepted reduced charges of criminal mischief and agreed to pay $200 as well as refrain from any construction work or alterations at 770 for three years, according to the New York Post. If they violate the terms of the plea deal they face a five-year ban from 770, which served as the office of Chabad’s late leader, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson.Other defendants in the case have previously pled guilty.

But four defendants on Monday opted to go to trial. They face felony criminal mischief charges and a maximum prison sentence of seven years.

The judge also scolded the defendants in the courtroom.

Presumably referring to the thousands of Chabad centers across the globe, he added, “They built buildings all over the world. It involves raising money, hiring architects, getting building permits and any rezoning as necessary. It is the only way that it gets done in this town.”
