The Surpreme Court has upheld the TikTok ban.

Biden says he will not enforce the penalties.

Here is the problem for TikTok:

The penalties are against ANY service provider that works with TikTok in the United States -this includes Oracle, Emails, Servers, electrical companies, app stores, domain registrars… literally every and all setvices.

The only penalty is $5,000usd PER user of the app. With 200,000,000 users that billions of dollars in fines.

Okay. So Biden says he won't enforce the penalties, but if you're a service provider to TikTok are you going to take his word for it? Considering that the penalties are retroactive to the date it goes into affect.

It remains to be seen what will happen, because Trump will be inaugurated the day after the ban is set to take affect -and TikTok CEO will be present at the inauguration.
