Acting U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert G. Salesses has ordered a halt to all Social Media Posts from Accounts linked to the Department of Defense, including Branches, Units, Schools, Recruiting, and Combatant Commands. According to the DoD Head of Social Media, the only Exception are for Posts made about the ongoing Mission on the U.S-Mexican Border, with the Social Media Stand-Down expected to remain in place until Pete Hegseth is confirmed at Secretary of Defense.
