Corporate ‘Nutritionists’ Launder Industry Propaganda Through ‘News’ Media

“Sales of breakfast cereal have been falling for quite some time. Although the category actually experienced an uptick in popularity during the pandemic, it was a spike that didn't last: As the world shifts away from the pandemic-induced lifestyle of never leaving the house, people are opting for more on-the-go breakfast foods such as granola bars, protein shakes, or even fast food breakfast sandwiches. This might be why you're seeing Kellogg's just-add-water cereal popping up at convenience stores, positioning itself as a similarly portable option…

"In recent weeks, executives from Kellogg and Post both separately said that they expect the cereal industry to return to its prepandemic trend of gradual decline, with sales ranging from flat to down by a low single-digit percentage a year," WSJ reports.”

Their solution — if the deluge of listicle articles into my news feed daily citing “registered dietitians” is any indication — is to repackage industry propaganda as “news” and distribute it to people like the retarded feminist women who read HuffPost who will literally believe anything so long as a bona fide Expert™ lends their seal of approval.

From “Nutritionists Pick The Best (And Worst) Breakfast Cereals For Your Health,” via HuffPost (emphasis added):

“According to RD Kelly Toups LeBlanc, the VP of Nutrition Programming at Oldways, not all ultra-processed foods are created equal. “Some ultra-processed foods, like whole grain breakfast cereals, contain important food groups recommended in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Other ultra-processed foods, like candy bars and soft drinks, do not.”

She takes issue with the way the NOVA [food classification] list categorizes foods, especially whole-grain cereals…

The truth is that whole grain cereals can be an important part of nutrition assistance programs, providing valuable nutrition to vulnerable populations. “In a 2023 study from the USDA, government scientists designed a nutritious seven-day, 2,000-calorie diet in which 91% of calories came from ultra-processed foods,” LeBlanc said.”

HuffPost’s Top 10 healthiest cereals for “vulnerable populations” list includes Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch —bottom-of-the-barrel garbage that no sane person would make a breakfast staple unless they had a masochistic wish for cancer and a slow, painful death.

‘Jaw-dropping’ Study Finds Vaccinated Children Have 170% Higher Risk of Autism

The peer-reviewed study also found that vaccinated children had a 212% greater likelihood of developing other neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD, epilepsy/seizures, brain inflammation and tic and learning disorders.

Vaccinated children have a 170% higher chance of being diagnosed with autism compared to unvaccinated children, according to a new peer-reviewed study.

The study also found that vaccinated children had a 212% greater likelihood of developing a range of other neurodevelopmental disorders, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), epilepsy/seizures, brain inflammation and tic and learning disorders.

According to the study, the childhood vaccination schedule is likely a significant contributor to the higher rate of autism and neurodevelopmental conditions in vaccinated children.

The study of 47,155 9-year-old children enrolled in the Florida Medicaid program since birth was published on Jan. 23 in Science, Public Health Policy and the Law.

Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., senior research scientist for Children’s Health Defense, said the paper “is unignorable simply by the soundness of its methods.”

“The sheer hazards associated with severe childhood diseases is jaw-dropping,” Jablonowski said.

The paper’s authors — Anthony R. Mawson and Binu Jacob of the Mississippi-based Chalfont Research Institute — hypothesized that:

Childhood vaccination is associated with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Increasing numbers of vaccinations lead to a higher risk of autism.

Vaccinated preterm babies are at greater risk of neurodevelopmental disorders than unvaccinated babies.

The study’s findings confirmed the authors’ hypotheses. Experts said the results of the study cast doubt on government claims that vaccines are not linked to autism.

“The vaccine propaganda campaigns operated by our regulatory agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and legacy media continue to claim that the link between vaccines and autism has been ‘debunked,’” said epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher. He said the findings of this study “completely dismantle” this narrative.

Jablonowski noted that the study was based solely on government data. He said:

“The government has had this data for decades, professing safety while simultaneously refusing to study safety. The facade of U.S. government public health is crumbling, revealing a culprit in chronic disease in this country: willful ignorance.”

The authors of the study noted that government-sponsored studies have not compared health outcomes in vaccinated versus completely unvaccinated children. Mawson and Jacob told The Defender they hope the government will initiate such studies.

Retired Rotherham Police Officer Arrested Again Over Alleged Child Sex Abuse Investigation

Investigation into police officers accused of sex assaults in Britain’s notorious child rape gang hotspot Rotherham sees suspect re-arrested on further alleged offences, the policing watchdog reveals.

A retired police officer who was arrested at the end of last year over “complaints of child sexual abuse” while he was an officer in Rotherham in the 1990s as been arrested again, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) says. The unnamed man is said to be in his 60s and the new allegations relate to a new complainant who states she was attacked by the officer between 1997 and 2002.

That officer was previously arrested in October, then on suspicion of “misconduct in public office, attempted rape and three counts of indecent assault” allegedly against two girls between 1995 and 1999.

A second police officer, also unnamed, had been arrested in December. He is described as being in his 50s and was arrested on suspicion “suspicion of sexual assault and misconduct in public office and one count of indecent assault in connection to incidents that reportedly occurred around 1995-1996.”

The IOPC describes the complainants against the officers as “four survivors of child sexual exploitation and abuse in Rotherham” and that the alleged attacks took place while the Rotherham-based police officers “were both on and off duty”.

A spokesman for the IOPC said the allegations are: “very serious complaints and we will ensure they are thoroughly and robustly investigated”

The arrests follow the IOPC’s Operation Linden, one of its largest investigations ever, which investigated the actions of South Yorkshire Police around the mass rape of children in Rotherham. The IOPC was moved earlier this month to deny it had attempted to bury its findings, or that it had been told not to investigate senior officers, characterising these whistle blower claims as “completely inaccurate”.

An estimated 1,400 young girls were sexually abused by predominantly Pakistani gang members in the town, the Jay and Casey reports found.

Ukrainian Media Outlets Start Asking for Donations After US Funding Is Paused

Many Ukrainian outlets are funded by the US through USAID, which has been impacted by the State Department's foreign aid pause

Major Ukrainian media outlets are asking for donations following the Trump administration’s 90-day foreign aid pause since many of them are funded by the US government.

Ukrainian-Canadian professor and researcher Ivan Katchanovski noted on X that the Ukrainian online newspaper Strana.ua reported that two outlets — Hromadske and BIHUS.Info — acknowledged in their fundraising pitches that they lost US funding.

BIHUS.Info said in a Facebook post that a “large portion” of its work had been funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). “Therefore, now the role of donations from viewers is changing from an alternative source to one of the key ones. What will happen in 90 days, we do not know, but we know one thing: now is the time to find out whether our work is really needed by Ukrainian society,” the post said.

Hromadske said that some of the “projects that we implement thanks to grants are temporarily stopped. That is why we especially need the support of each and every one of you.”

Other major Ukrainian outlets, including Ukrainska Pravda and Detector Media, also began asking for donations following the pause in US foreign aid but did not explicitly name that as the reason they’re fundraising.

Katchanovski, author of the book “The Maidan Massacre in Ukraine,” said many of the US-funded media outlets whitewashed the Ukrainian far-right and smeared opponents as pro-Russia.

“Major Ukrainian media outlets financed by the US and other Western governments, such as Ukrainska Pravda & Detector Media, propagated the war to the last Ukrainian, glorified & whitewashed neo-Nazi-led Azov, the OUN, and the UPA, & smeared anyone who opposed this as Russian agents paid by Kremlin,” Katchanovski wrote on X.

The New York Times reported that several humanitarian organizations in Ukraine have had to shut down due to the Trump administration’s foreign aid pause. US officials at the US Embassy in Ukraine are asking for exemptions for humanitarian operations in the country, but so far, the only known exemptions are for military aid to Israel and Egypt under the State Department’s Foreign Military Financing program.

The vast majority of US military aid to Ukraine is provided by the Pentagon, and that does not appear to be affected by the State Department’s pause. “I am focused on military aid; it has not been stopped, thank God,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday.

Before leaving office, President Biden approved a huge amount of military aid for Ukraine, and there’s no sign those shipments have been frozen.

Israel Says It Will Occupy Southern Syria ‘Indefinitely’

Defense Minister Israel Katz made the comments while visiting the Syrian side of Mount Hermon

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that Israel will “indefinitely” occupy areas of southern Syria it captured after the the regime change in Damascus that ousted former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Katz made the comments while visiting Israeli troops on the Syrian side of Mount Hermon, which is located on the Syria-Lebanon border. “The IDF will remain at the summit of the Hermon and the security zone indefinitely to ensure the security of the communities of the Golan Heights and the north and all the residents of Israel,” he said.

Israel has occupied the Golan Heights since 1967 and annexed the Syrian territory in 1981, a move not recognized by any country until the first Trump administration did so in 2019.

Israel began its latest land grab in Syria by capturing a buffer zone between the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights and the rest of Syria that was patrolled by UN peacekeepers. The invading Israeli forces have also captured several towns and villages in Syria’s Quneitra Governorate.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu celebrated and took credit for the overthrow of Assad since he was an ally of Iran and Hezbollah. But Israel has also used the takeover of Syria by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), an offshoot of al-Qaeda, to invade and capture the land in the south. Israel also launched massive airstrikes in Syria to destroy military equipment.

“We will not allow hostile forces to establish themselves in the security zone in southern Syria… we will act against any threat,” Katz said atop Mount Hermon. “We will not be dependent on others for our security.”

Could Donald Trump become liberal Zionists’ next hero?

Mixed signals as new US president helps clinch Gaza agreement, appears intent on Israeli-Saudi deal requiring path to Palestinian state, while making moves favorable to pro-settler right

Jeremy Ben-Ami did not want Donald Trump to win the US election.

J Street, the liberal pro-Israel lobby Ben-Ami leads, accused Trump of antisemitism and undermining democracy. It raised millions for his Democratic rival, US Vice President Kamala Harris. It said a Trump White House “endangers advancing a resolution between Israelis and Palestinians,” adding, “he is not a friend of Jewish-Americans supporting peace.”

Then, just before Trump took office, Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire and hostage release. It was the very deal that, for months, J Street had wanted Joe Biden to accomplish. By many accounts, it was Trump who helped push it over the finish line.

Now Ben-Ami and other liberal Zionists are asking a somewhat uncomfortable question: Is the president they opposed in fact their best hope? Could he achieve a treaty with Saudi Arabia? Real progress toward a Palestinian state?

Could Donald Trump make all their dreams come true?

“He is president of the United States, and he’s expressed an interest in getting done the ultimate deal,” Ben-Ami said. “We are supportive of anybody who’s going to try to advance that kind of agenda.”

Of course, the case against Trump being a liberal Zionist is extremely obvious: He isn’t liberal. Both his past and future ambassadors to Israel, David Friedman and Mike Huckabee, support the settlements. His Israeli-Palestinian peace plan did not include an independent Palestinian state. In his first term, he embraced the priorities of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Davos 2025: WEF Panel on 'Antisemitism' Pushes for Increased Social Media Censorship

From WEF 2025: Jonathan Greenblatt, Randi Weingarten, and Jennifer Schenker Advocate for Increased Social Media Censorship to Combat Antisemitism:

At the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting, a session titled "Confronting Antisemitism Amid Polarization" featured prominent speakers who advocated for stronger measures to compel social media platforms to censor content they consider harmful. Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL); Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT); and Jennifer Schenker, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Innovator, expressed concerns about the influence of platforms like TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook on public discourse and the spread of antisemitism.

Jennifer Schenker set the tone for the discussion by claiming, "The flames of antisemitism are being fanned every second by TikTok and social media," and lamenting that "the Jewish community has not been able to effectively combat that online."

Jonathan Greenblatt labeled social media platforms "a super spreader of antisemitism and hate" and criticized their impact on younger audiences, stating, "Young people… get their news from TikTok, which is fairly terrifying, or from X or from Instagram." He also called Meta "a gigantic problem," highlighting the challenges posed by the platforms' size, business models, and governance structures.

Greenblatt further criticized Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA), describing it as "a loophole… which exempts [social media companies] from liability." He called for regulatory and reputational pressure to compel these companies to act, suggesting that social pressure could deter top engineers from working for platforms perceived as unethical: "If their engineers feel like going to these companies and participating in something, you know, an evil enterprise, if you will, they don't wanna do that."

Greenblatt sounded quite desperate, frankly.

No one is going to be shamed into not working for TikTok.

Randi Weingarten shared examples of how the AFT has used its influence to pressure social media platforms. "We have used the economic power sometimes against a place like Facebook or others to say, actually, you have to stand with what is moral and what is legal," she said, acknowledging the union's role in leveraging pension funds and other economic tools to advocate for what they consider the fight against hate.

Weingarten also expressed concerns over the influence of social media on young people's perceptions of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Recounting interactions with high school students in Boston, she noted that "every question [they asked] because of what they see and what they're on" focused on the actions of the IDF, implying that platforms like TikTok and X should be more active in censoring such content.

One solution that was not proposed: speaking out against and criticizing the genocide Israel committed in Gaza.

Merck Charged With Hiding Crippling Side Effects of Highly Profitable Cancer Vax

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is facing an uphill confirmation battle in the Senate as Donald Trump's secretary of, has vowed to reign in drug companies, which he’s previously dubbed a “criminal enterprise,” and to demand compensation for people injured by their products.

The US’s number 2 drugmaker is facing a jury trial after being charged with marketing its Gardasil cancer vaccine as safe in spite of evidence to the contrary.

The drug has been heavily prescribed and marketed to people ages 9-45 in the US, the EU and Australia, and deployed in developing countries via grants from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, for the prevention of cervical, head, neck and other cancers caused by HPV, netting Merck a cool $8+ bln in profits 2023.

However, critics including RFK Jr. have called Gardasil “dangerous and defective” and said it could actually increase the risk of some cancers, and cause an array of life-altering injuries, from extreme migraines and memory problems to episodic paralysis, heart issues, hyperinsomnia and gastroparesis, leaving some teens, the drug’s main target demographic, essentially crippled.

Lawyers representing a Los Angeles woman accuse the company of misleading consumers by overstating Gardasil’s benefits, and covering up side effects.

Merck’s lawyers promise to “vigorously defen[d] against these claims” and say that there’s no proof her injuries were “actually caused” by the jab.

Merck has paid out billions of dollars in damages over the years, including a $4.85 billion settlement to victims of Vioxx, an anti-inflammatory drug found to cause heart attacks and strokes among thousands of Americans, in 2007.

It's also been accused of criminal activities abroad, with Russia's Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces releasing thousands of documents seized in Ukraine revealing that Merck and other US and European drug companies actively tested their products on unwitting Ukrainians.
