Translation: State Farm effectively wrecked their capital car.
They will have a large retention held net, and any loss in excess of their reinsurance tower will also be held net. Moving forward in 2025, the cost of their reinsurance tower will increase DRASTICALLY, as will their self insured retention.
So what? If you’ve got State Farm as a carrier, prepare for increased rates and/or non-renewals
