Nine nations, collectively known as The Hague Group, convened in The Hague today to coordinate legal, diplomatic, and economic responses to Israel’s breaches of international law.

In the first Joint Statement issued by The Hague Group, representatives from Belize, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Honduras, Malaysia, Namibia, Senegal, and South Africa outlined their shared commitment to addressing these violations.

These countries have made it clear that they will uphold ICC arrest warrants, prevent weapons transfers to Israel, and block any arms shipments from docking at their ports. Their joint statement calls for collective action to hold Israel accountable for the genocide in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, highlighting violations of international law. This includes supporting UN resolutions, halting arms transfers to Israel, and taking steps to end the Israeli occupation.

The statement urged all nations to join in upholding international law and defending the rights of the Palestinian people.
