Maybe all that debt created out of thin air is just trillions in stolen money? Maybe we are funding some of the richest criminals in the entire world who are simply looting America dry?

Was looking into that anon. I have a massive offline collection myself, on several 4TB & 8TB portable drives. What kind of drives do you hook up to those Synology stations and where can you buy those drives?

It's more about having control over your own media than privacy, but it's much more private than using cloud services and I'd imagine you can use it offline whenever you want to. I have most my backups completely offine already. Movies, tv shows, documentaries, music & music videos, youtube videos, software, ebooks, etc.

Does it take regular magnetic harddrives or are there specialty made harddrives for the disk station? I can't seem to find much spec info for it, specifically what kinds of drives I can/cannot use.

If you live in total paranoia you might as well not even use the internet at all. Just use forward secrecy and some basic opsec while online, and keep most your files on offline backups, highly doubt anyone is going to try hunting some random pseudo-anonymous anon down over it.

Kinda pricey but probably worth it. Thinking of using 4x 8TB drives. That would be enough to store everything I have, plus many years worth more of free space to work with. Bad ass!

I do it all the time but on 128GB and 256GB flashdrives lol. I have to manually load whatever it is I wish to watch on my TV (which is an old offline plasma tv set). When I finished watching something, go back, erase and load up more media later on. Not bad, but would be much better to have all of my media on one single disk station.

I wouldn't use a cell phone for it, don't have a smartphone anyway. I just want to load all my media on it and be able to hook it up and play the media on a TV set. Would it work for that purpose?

I would simply use it to watch video files on my TV set, plus store all the other media I own as backup. Can you plug it into a TV and load the media up?
