yeah 4x8TB will be a good start. it has so many features with its own open source OS (Linux based) and shit, you can install apps on it and whatnot. You can visit it with any browser, Even with you cellhone outside your house. This way you don't have to store all the images on your phone either. This way you don't have to use google photos or some other spying prying shit either.

Of course bro. Thats pretty much the most basic usecase. If you have an android tv you can connect it directly from that. You can even connect your surveillance webcams to it and save shit it there.
