Microsoft Drops USAID-Funded NewsGuard After Ted Cruz Starts Digging

Microsoft has dropped NewsGuard, a left-wing fact checking organization they partnered with that has helped the advertising industry justify blacklists for independent conservative media sites such as ZeroHedge

The move came after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) began investigating Microsoft for funding the online "media literacy" censorship tool created by NewsGuard to help guide "learners of all ages through the overwhelming landscape of online news and information."

Now we come to find out that NewsGuard was funded by USAID.

NewsGuard has since removed any mention of Microsoft from their website.

"Big Tech is finally beginning to recognize the censorship of conservative viewpoints will no longer be tolerated by the American people," Cruz, chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, said in a statement to Newsmax on Thursday.

"I am happy to see that the leadership at Microsoft has renounced their support of NewsGuard's so-called media literacy tool in response to my letter.

"NewsGuard's biased rating system stifles intellectual diversity, hinders critical thinking among young students, and undermines our nation's core values of free expression."

In his letter to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Cruz pointed out that NewsGuard has targeted outlets such as The Federalist, The Daily Wire, and NewsMax, branding them as "unreliable," while left-wing outlets such as Jacobin, The Atlantic, and The New Republic are deemed reliable.

NewsGuard has also "found a willing partner in the American Federation of Teachers (AFT)" to use their "media literacy" tool browser extension used by over 800 public libraries worldwide.

In November, Federal Communications Commission Commissioner Brendan Carr, now chairman, wrote to the CEOs of Apple, Meta, Microsoft, and Alphabet demanding that they fess up about their censorship activities targeting conservatives.

How USAID funded terror states which killed US soldiers

USAID sent $9.3B to Islamic terror states that killed 3,000 American soldiers. And over $18 billion to Islamic terrorist states.

“It is really, really a sad day in America,” Rep. Ilhan Omar declared at a rally protesting the reconstruction of USAID.

It wasn’t a sad day for America, but it was so for Somalia.

Over the last two years, USAID doled out $2.3 billion in “humanitarian assistance” to Omar’s native Somalia. Last year it reported a request for $1.6 billion in aid and even in December 2024, with the Biden administration on the way out the door, it sent an additional $29 million.

USAID support for Somalia had doubled under the Biden administration and with $3.3 billion from USAID allocated in the last 5 years. the threatened withdrawal of funding must have been a painful blow for Omar, who is very close to the Somali regime. Former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Khaire had stated “the interest of Ilhan are not Ilhan’s, it’s not the interest of Minnesota, nor is it the interest of the American people, the interest of Ilhan is that of the Somalian people and Somalia.”

Somalia, along with other Islamic terrorist entities, including the Taliban in Afghanistan, the Houthis in Yemen, and Hamas in Gaza, were among the top beneficiaries of USAID cash.

USAID sent $2.1 billion to Gaza and the "West Bank" since the Hamas attacks of Oct 7. In 2024 alone, $917 million was programmed for the terrorist areas occupying Israel.

USAID provided over $3.7 billion to Afghanistan since the Taliban took over with $832 million in the previous fiscal year alone. The money was so unaccountable that USAID refused to cooperate with SIGAR: the government watchdog tracking spending in Afghanistan intent on blocking money from aiding terrorists.

Even while the United States of America was at war with the Houthis, the Islamic terrorist group firing on US Navy vessels out of Yemen, USAID continued to direct billions of dollars to Yemen. In 2024, USAID announced a $2.7 billion aid request for Yemen and allocated $753 million. Over the last 5 years, it doled out $3.4 billion.

Other Islamic terrorist states that have heavily drawn on USAID include Pakistan which harbored Osama bin Laden, but benefited from $600 million in the last 5 years. While some American towns and cities lacked clean drinking water, USAID labored to build plants for Pakistan’s majority Muslim population even while it engaged in the persecution of Christians.

USAID spent over $700 million on Iraq during the last 5 years even though the country has long since been governed by Iranian puppets whose militias have been firing on American soldiers.

$3.4 billion was directed to Syria over the past 5 years by USAID even as it was caught in a civil war between Shiite Islamists aligned with Iran and Sunni Islamists aligned with Al Qaeda.

USAID allocated $1.1 billion to spend on Lebanon even as the country was run by Hezbollah.

While USAID is unable to function in Iran, between Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, over $8 billion was sent to Iranian puppet regimes aligned with terrorism.

USAID had spent some $18.5 billion on Islamic terror states over those 5 years.

US President Trump and Russian President Putin held a nearly hour-and-a-half call this morning which the US president described as "lengthy and highly productive."

Trump said on Truth Social that both leaders had extended invitations of "visiting each other's nations," while, the US leader said he would be calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "right now" to inform him about the call.

Massive Overnight Russian Strike On Kiev Used Ballistic Missiles, Over 120 Drones

Russia has confirmed its forces launched major overnight missile strikes on Ukrainian military plants as well as energy infrastructure. Kiev suffered significant damage, resulting in casualties and several fires in the city.

A Wednesday statement by the defense ministry said that Russian forces had carried out a "group missile strike on workshops of Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises producing unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV drones."

Watchdog: Israel behind most reporter deaths in 2024; IDF: Many were terror operatives

Jerusalem responsible for 85 of record-setting 124 journalists killed last year, Committee to Protect Journalists claims; IDF rejects accusation, says it doesn’t target journalists

Last year was the deadliest for journalists in recent history, with at least 124 reporters killed — and Israel responsible for nearly 70 percent of that total, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) claimed Wednesday.

Shortly after the report was released, the Israel Defense Forces responded by insisting that it does not intentionally target journalists in the Gaza Strip, while noting that many on the list are members of terror groups.

The uptick in killings, which marks a 22% increase over 2023, reflects “surging levels of international conflict, political unrest and criminality worldwide,” the CPJ said.

It was the deadliest year for reporters and media workers since CPJ began keeping records more than three decades ago, with journalists murdered across 18 different countries, it said.

A total of 85 journalists died in the Hamas-instigated Gaza war, “all at the hands of the Israeli military,” the CPJ charged, adding that 82 of them were Palestinians.

CPJ accused Israel of attempting to stifle investigations of incidents, shift blame onto journalists, and ignore its duty to hold people to account for the killings.

“The war in Gaza is unprecedented in its impact on journalists and demonstrates a major deterioration in global norms on protecting journalists,” CPJ CEO Jodie Ginsberg said in a statement.

The Israeli military rejected the report.

“The IDF takes all possible measures to minimize harm to civilians, including journalists. The IDF has never, and never will, intentionally target journalists,” the military said in response to a query by The Times of Israel.

“In light of the ongoing exchange of fire, being in an active combat zone carries risks. The IDF will continue to combat threats while making an ongoing effort to minimize harm to civilians. The IDF only directs its attacks toward military targets and militants and does not attack civilian sites or civilians, including media and journalists,” the statement continued.

“Under international humanitarian law, a member of an organized armed group [such as the military wing of Hamas], or a person directly participating in hostilities, is considered a lawful target. As it seems, many on the published list include members of the military wing of Hamas and are therefore lawful targets under international law,” the IDF added.

Israel vowed to destroy Hamas for its October 2023 onslaught in which 1,200 people were killed, most of them civilians, and 251 taken hostage.

More than 48,000 Palestinians have been killed in the ensuing war, according to the Hamas-run health ministry, which doesn’t differentiate between civilians and combatants. Israel says it has killed 21,000 Hamas fighters since the war began.

Syria Planting Landmines Along Lebanon Border as Tensions Linger

Commanders accuse Hezbollah of being behind cross-border drug trade

The Syrian government is now announcing that, having “swept” the border areas with Lebanon, they are in the process of planting landmines at every road and crossing that heads into their neighboring country. They termed these “illegal” border crossings.

In practice, the border is historically not strictly enforced between Syria and Lebanon everywhere, and some towns, like Haweek, just plain span both sides of the border, with Lebanese and Syrian residents living side by side.

Syria’s Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s (HTS) crackdown in Haweek was the start of this border crisis last week. HTS raided the mostly Shi’ite town as it had so many others, but faced substantial resistance from Lebanese clans living there, leading to clashes and the killing and capture of multiple HTS members. HTS responded by having the army invade Lebanon’s town of Hermel.

Syrian officials are trying to brand this crackdown and the mining of the border as something to do with the war on drugs, accusing Hezbollah of being behind the drug trade between Lebanon and Syria. The clans involved in the recent clashes have indeed been accused of being involved in the Captagon trade as well.

But in the grand scheme of things, the HTS crackdowns around the Lebanon border have mostly been sectarian moves against Shi’ites in general and Alawites in particularly. The HTS was branding these measures as being about Assad remnant forces before, and has only started rebranding them as a drug war now that they’re going after Lebanese Shi’ites who were plainly not affiliated with the Assad government in any way.

‘No Exceptions’: Pentagon Schools Defy Hegseth by Renaming DEI Efforts

In preparation for Donald Trump’s second presidency, the Pentagon’s school system attempted to conceal its diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts under a different name.

The Department of Defense Education Activity agency renamed social-emotional learning as “resilience,” according to a Jan. 6 meeting recording obtained by The Daily Signal.

During his first two weeks in office, Trump issued executive orders prohibiting radical gender ideology, critical race theory, and diversity, equity, and inclusion instruction from federally funded American education.

That includes schools on military bases run by the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity, which operates 161 schools across 11 foreign countries and in seven U.S. states and two territories, and serves more than 67,000 military-connected students.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth made it clear that he would enforce the president’s ban on DEI at the Department of Defense.

“The Pentagon will comply, immediately,” Hegseth said. “No exceptions, name-changes, or delays.”

Yet at the Jan. 6 winter planning meeting, Will Griffin, director of communications for the Department of Defense Education Activity, said that with “some of the transitions that we’re looking at” over the next year, “one of our challenges is going to be being able to continue doing what we do best, and that’s to provide a world-class education to military-connected students.”

“Unfortunately, sometimes words have the potential to get in the way of that, which is why we’ve made some adjustments or some transitions in some of the language that’s part of our lexicon,” he continued. “Building student resilience, you probably saw the new logo for [Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports], resilience is the name of the game in terms of how we can talk about what we used to say [social-emotional learning] for.”

While claiming to equip children with the ability to manage emotions, feel empathy for others, and maintain positive relationships, social-emotional learning integrates critical race theory throughout the education system.

“It’s important to talk about resilience, that we talk about [Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports] as a whole, and unfortunately, we have to do it,” he said, “but we kind of keep the words out of the way so our world-class educators can continue providing that world-class education.”

According to Education Week, the Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports framework “offers students who have learning, social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties in general classrooms personalized instruction or support that matches the level of help they need to stay on pace with their peers.”

The framework is prone to failure in schools, often due to the program’s added demands upon teaching staff, parental rights advocate Kelly Schenkoske told The Daily Signal.

“MTSS requires additional staff training, assessments, meetings, and data collection, which take time away from quality classroom instruction,” she said. “What’s more concerning is that the MTSS framework often pairs with social-emotional learning and school mental health referrals, which serve as a Trojan horse for gender ideology and culturally responsive teaching agendas.”

Wisconsin Child Molester Free After Judge Susan Crawford’s Slap on the Wrist

A convicted child molester who could have been sentenced to more than 100 years in prison for sexually assaulting 6 and 7-year-old girls in a Middleton swimming pool is already back on the streets and living in New London, Wisconsin, because of a short sentence by leftist Judge Susan Crawford, who is seeking a seat on the state’s highest court, Wisconsin Right Now has documented.

He’s living about 1.6 miles away from the high school.

In addition to the 4-year prison sentence that Crawford gave Kevin D. Welton in January 2020, she rejected a prosecutor’s repeated request to raise his $500 SIGNATURE BOND even after he was convicted of two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and a third count of attempted first-degree sexual assault of one of the same children, court records show.

Furthermore, the sentence was less than the victims’ families and prosecution asked for, and she diminished the seriousness of the crime during sentencing.

Welton was convicted of molesting the girls, ages 6 and 7, at a Middleton swimming pool where one of the girls was getting swimming lessons. The assaults happened eight years apart but had a very similar M.O.

Court notes show that, right after the jury convicted Welton, the prosecutor moved for bail to “be revoked…Court does not modify bond at this time, bond is continued.” That’s even though his sentencing was more than three months away. In December, the prosecutor tried again to get his bail remanded; Susan Crawford only modified the conditions of release. Again, she left his signature bond at $500.

Again, this was AFTER he had been convicted, and it was against the express and repeated request of prosecutors.

King Abdullah Of Jordan Comes Out Against Removing Palestinians From Gaza

King Abdullah II of Jordan released a statement after meeting with President Donald Trump on Tuesday saying that he opposes “the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.”

The message, released in Arabic after the meeting, came after Abdullah offered to take 2,000 sick children from Gaza into his country for immediate medical care.

“I reaffirmed Jordan’s firm stance against the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria),” Abdullah said in his statement.

“This is the unified Arab position,” he said. “Everyone’s priority should be the reconstruction of Gaza without displacing its people and addressing the difficult humanitarian situation in the Strip.”

Abdullah said that a “just peace” had to be based on “a two-state solution” and nothing else, warning that it was the “only way to achieve stability in the region, and this requires the leading role of the United States.”

“President Trump is a man of peace and played a pivotal role in reaching the ceasefire in Gaza,” he said. “We look forward to the continued efforts of the United States and all parties to solidify the ceasefire.”

Israel establishes nine 'permanent' occupation bases in south Syria

Three Israeli army brigades currently occupy Syrian territory without resistance from the new government in Damascus

Israeli occupation forces have discreetly established a security zone within Syrian territory, with nine sites already under advanced construction within the occupied buffer zone, beyond it, and on Mount Hermon, Israeli Army Radio reported on 10 February.

The army has established nine bases extending from Mount Hermon and through Quneitra until Deraa governate, which “appeared to be permanent.”

There is currently no set timeline for how long Israel will maintain control over this security zone, but the army has confirmed that it will remain until it is certain that there are “no threats to Israel.”

The army has also established “security cooperation with Jordan for mutual issues including against factions in south Syria and possible Hamas cells.”

Three army brigades currently operate on Syrian territory, an increase from the one-and-a-half battalions stationed in the occupied Golan Heights before 7 October 2023, the Army Radio added.

After reviewing the vast data in the VHA system, the study found that people who received a “booster” mRNA “vaccine” for Covid in 2023 and 2024 were more likely to get Covid, be admitted to hospital, or die.

They analyzed data from VHA’s comprehensive electronic health record system to compare outcomes between people who had received the booster and those who hadn’t.

In early February, barely two weeks after his inauguration, President Trump intimated that Gaza would become a US territory, with a view to developing a luxury real estate project with mansions, luxury apartments, hotels and casinos.

How many years would it take to remove the ruble and rebuild?

Under Trump’s advisory, Palestinians would be relocated and excluded from their homeland.

“I would like Egypt to take people,…You’re talking about probably a million and a half people, and we just clean out that whole thing and say: ‘You know, it’s over.’” [Trump told the king of Jordan] ….

“I would love for you to take on more, ‘cause I am looking at the whole Gaza Strip right now, and it’s a mess. It’s a real mess.”

Will this Multi-billion Dollar Real Estate Project be Carried Out?

It’s doubtful. There is an unspoken objective, which is barely mentioned by the mainstream media.

As outlined by Felicity Arbuthnot with foresight 11 years ago in a December, 30 2013 article:

“Israel is set to become a major exporter of gas and some oil, “If All Goes to Plan”.

Arbuthnot was referring to the ownership of Gaza’s maritime natural gas reserves, which belong to the State of Palestine.

At the time of writing, the Netanyahu government is planning to appropriate these maritime gas reserves. What this signifies is that Israel is intent upon annexing Gaza as well as destroying an entire country.
