Hill sources tell me a unanimous consent deal has been struck to punt multiple Trump nominee confirmations to next week—including Kash Patel, who could be confirmed this weekend—so senators can go have a fun weekend in Germany. Lutnick and Loeffler are reportedly being punted as well to accommodate senators who want a four-day, taxpayer-funded weekend jaunt to Germany.

So much for staying at work until all of Trump’s nominees are confirmed. That little promise didn’t even survive a month.

Some 20 senators have their bags packed for the Munich Security Conference this weekend, but are waiting on a final green light from Leader Thune

In an email, Thune warned they may have to stay in town to vote on Trump noms on Fri.

Mentioned it in IRL - we decided she's an opportunist. Given her background and how fast she moved around.
