Engine was derailed…. The engine in the pics is at REAR of train

 

4: Truck driver dies, did not (or could not) get out of truck before impact

Driver was driving …. bad judgement, tried to sneak around gate.

 

Gate not damaged, truck pushed to left, away from gatepost

 

5: Hit by a passenger train, not a freight train,

 

6: Not a normal passenger train but one carrying a lot of GOP politicians

 

7: GOP flying high after successful SOTU 12 hrs earlier (polls confirm)

That is a rural area, the posted speed limit has been reported by multiple sources, the speed of the train was reported, the damage is consistent with the speed reported..

 

Stop trying to force a coincidence, it was a stupid accident…. caused by truck drivr

The drive engine stopped a quarter mile from impact. The engine #news a r the truck was at the rear, and was used to take passenger cars back to station.
