I've also lived in residential areas with tracks cutting through them.

 

They aren't allowed to do more than 30-40MPH.

As I've said, I've LIVED in those areas.

I've never seen any train moving at more than 30-40MPH when the tracks adjoin RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY.

 

Believe whatever the fuck you want, but that train would need several football fields to stop.

 

It's not the speed that makes that so, it's the weight COMBINED with the speed.

 

Having said that, I'll bet my left testicle that the train was even moving at 30MPH.

Again, the train wouldn't stop that close to point of impact, not even at 30MPH.
